Over the weekend, the president called the coach that coached Zanetti and Samuel and now with Chile, Sanchez.
He has asked the availability to guide Inter (this or next year?). In that case, Leo would be open to become a director in the future.

INTER, THERE IS A CALL FOR BIELSA

Surprise: Moratti called the Argentinian coach. Is he for post-Leo?
The president has contacted the coach of Chile who has seen the growth of Sanchez and coached Zanetti and Samuel.

That phone call was a secret, but secrets do not last long in football. As well as many other coaches. So from Argentina, the news regarding that has started bouncing around about a coach, or rather two. Because over the weekend, Massimo Moratti called Marcelo Bielsa, the coach of Chile in the last World Cup, to ask him about the availability to coach Inter in place of Leonardo. His name, initially, surfaced before the sacking of Benitez. Now Bielsa must respond to Moratti on whether he can coach now or in the future. The Inter president has personally called the Argentinian coach, who was at his home in Rosario, but this is not enough to to be certain that Bielsa will arrive at Inter and Leonardo will leave. Pending provided contradictions because in football, not only for Inter, that everything is denied before the conclusion of any negotiation. We can stop at one certain fact about a phone call between Moratti and Bielsa, although his name was linked to Inter at one point when all the directors of Inter denied the possible sacking of Benitez.

Surprise So Moratti has previously thought about Bielsa before tacking on a surprise of Leonardo who could change the role once again, because his relationship with Moratti, unlike Benitez, is excellent and he is willingly to go back to his director role. Never as in this case, therefore, the condition is a must for two reasons: first because it is unpredictable on whether or not Moratti's call may have been only for exploratory purposes, and because Bielsa has refused a coaching job on the bench of Seville, Real Sociedad, Roma and the United States national team. The only certainty at this point is timing, because while it is true that the players are on vacation, Leonardo has the right, as well as the duty, to participate in the construction of a new Inter, so the decision to focus on Bielsa, or go on with him can not be postponed for too long.

Temptations There are reasons why Bielsa, whose nickname is "Loco" which is Pazza (Crazy) could be the right man for Pazza Inter. And here we enter the garden of the possible (and plausible) temptations of Moratti. Having followed his Argentina in the 2002 World Cup, we can say that, despite the early elimination, Bielsa built a spectacular national team, we saw the same thing a year ago in South Africa where he presented a surprisingly good Chile side with Alexis Sanchez. But even before that, as club manager, he was very successful in Argentina by winning two championships with Newell's Old Boys and one with Velez Sarsfield. The one single, small, perplexity because he never experiences in Europe, as he left Espanyol pretty much immediately to lead his own country. A manic worker, Bielsa knows how to win over his players just like Mourinho. And we cannot really rule out that captain Zanetti has spoken well of him because under Bielsa he played as a midfielder alongside with former Juventus player Simeon Sorin. But also Samuel, who under Bielsa was the linchpin in the defense of three, has great estimation as well as other Argentinians at Inter. There are many clues but they are not proving anything. Because a phone call just cannot remove Leonardo from the bench even if it is sufficient for this to please Bielsa.

Pozzo: "There Are No Valid Requests For Sanchez"

Giampaolo Pazzo, patron of Udinese, is still playing the cards indicating that he has not received concrete offers for Alexis Sanchez. "There are no requests for Sanchez, I intend to speak of valid requests. Sanchez is a very important player," said Pozzo, who did not deny that he would like to see the Chilean still with the shirt of the Udinese. "I have spoken to Alexis and his agent. I believe that eventually they will realize that I just can not sell Sanchez. We haven't received any offer for him and this is the truth. And preferably that Sanchez is staying with us and he would be very happy."

After saying that he still has not received any attractive offers for Sanchez, Udinese patron Giampaolo Pozzo has thrown a bait for the Inter management to catch. After the unbalanced evaluation of Sanchez ("35 million won't be enough") and also some kind of prediction ("I would say that City are the favorite"), the patron of Udinese is calling Inter:

"With the Nerazzurri there have only been talks, we haven't been speaking in definitive form. But things can be made at the last moment: president Moratti has said to sit down at a table even though we are not interested in the players included."

Milan - Inter Milan made clear their intention to retain the Serie A title, drubbing AC Milan 4-0 Saturday in a city derby that the Devils played for the most part with 10 men. Brazilian Thiago Motta and Argentine Diego Milito, two arrivals from Genoa, had already put Inter up two goals when Gennaro Gattuso was sent off with a second yellow card.

A third goal sank the Devils' hopes before the break as Brazil defender Douglas Maicon beat Marco Storari off a Milito assist.
The win was secured in a matter of 15 minutes through an impressive display of offensive power that made Inter fans forget the embarrassing 1-1 home draw against promoted Bari that they had to watch a week earlier.

Milan had produced a good pressing in the first 20 minutes, threatening with a spurt from Frenchman Mathieu Flamini, while Brazilian Ronaldinho misfired off a precious feed from his fast compatriot Pato.
A further threat forced Inter's Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar to slap a dangerous cross to prevent Marco Borriello's close-range flick, but Inter gradually improved their game and secured the outcome before the break.

Defending champions Inter Milan were held to a surprise 1-1 draw at home to promoted Bari at the San Siro on Sunday in their first match of the new Serie A season.

But rivals Juventus got off to a winning start as Vincenzo Iaquinta scored the only goal in a 1-0 home success against Chievo.

Cameroon forward Samuel Eto'o scored his first goal for Inter since joining from Barcelona in a swap deal that saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic head to Spain, but Vitaly Kutuzov's equaliser earned the plucky Serie A newboys a deserved share of the spoils.

Inter coach Jose Mourinho picked new signings Eto'o and Diego Milito up front together but they could not fire the champions to victory.

"We have the quality to do well, we played a great game but we didn't have the luck needed to score a second goal and make the game safe," moaned the Portuguese boss.

"Unfortunately, we lack a bit of fluidity, we haven't had long to work together.

"We're not a team that makes excuses and I don't want to justify the loss of two points but it's a fact that we've changed a lot and we're lacking fluidity."

Inter were creating little in the early stages and survived a scare at the other end when France captain Patrick Vieira's clumsy challenge brought down Riccardo Allegretti right on the edge of the box.

Allegretti curled the free-kick over the wall but Julio Cesar was quickly across his line to make the save.

Vieira then played a sublime ball over the top of the defence for Milito, who couldn't keep his volley down.

Mourinho was clearly unhappy with what he saw and switched things around before the half hour was even up, bringing on Mario Balotelli for Sulley Muntari and changing the formation to 4-3-3 from a 4-4-2 with a midfield diamond.

However, the coach then revealed that the switch was probably more due to Ramadan than tactical.

"Muntari had some problems related to Ramadan, perhaps with this heat it's not good for him to be doing this (fasting)," said Mourinho about Sulley's substitution.

Ghanaian Sulley is Muslim and during Ramadan, Muslims are expected to fast -- abstaining from food and drink -- during daylight hours.

"Ramadan has not arrived at the ideal moment for a player to play a football match," said Mourinho.

Another new signing Thiago Motta shot inches wide from just outside the area but Inter centre-backs Lucio and Marco Materazzi got in each other's way to allow Kutuzov a run clean through on goal, only for the Belarus international to tread on the ball and lose momentum.

Mourinho changed things again at the break, bringing winger Ricardo Quaresma on for his defensive midfielder Vieira and reverting to a 4-4-2 with wide men.

The move was soon to pay dividends, although in controversial fashion as Milito slumped to the ground in the box from what seemed to be minimal contact.

The referee pointed to the penalty spot and Eto'o easily opened his account in Italian football.

He should have had a second on 67 minutes when Milito teed him up inside the box but with only goalkeeper Jean-Francois Gillet to beat the former Barcelona man dragged his shot hopelessly wide.

They were made to pay for that on 74 minutes following a defensive blunder from Lucio, who charged out of position to try to make an interception, only to leave a gaping hole for Kutuzov to shoot past Cesar.

It should have been worse for the champions as substitute Emmauel Rivas fired over the bar deep into stoppage time with only Cesar to beat.

In Turin, Iaquinta gave Juve an 11th minute lead when he rose highest to brilliantly head home a free-kick from debutant Diego.

Iaquinta almost scored a second with a close range header from an Amauri cross but Stefano Sorrentino made an instinctive save with his legs.

Amauri came closest in the second half to adding a second but his shot came back off the post.

In other games Parma were denied a winning return to Serie A as an Antonio Di Natale brace earned Udinese a 2-2 draw.

APPIANO GENTILE - Accompanied by José Mourinho, technical director Marco Branca and transfer market consultant Gabriele Oriali, Inter's latest signing Wesley Sneijder was unveiled to the Italian media in today's press conference at the training ground.

This is what the 25-year-old Dutch midfielder, who underwent his first training session with fitness coach Rui Faria this morning before making his way to the press room, had to say:

We know that the operation for your signing has been quite a contest. Are you happy to join Inter?
"Well first of all thank you. I think Inter is an amazing club, one of the biggest clubs in the world, so I'm very happy to be a player of Inter. It has been long, but finally I am here."

How much do you like pressure. You're not here to be an ordinary player.
"Well, to talk about pressure... I've been a player of Real Madrid and there was pressure there too. I can handle the pressure. I want to play games now and prove myself to all the people here."

What is your opinion of Mourinho?
"Of course he's one of the biggest coaches in the world. I saw him in Chelsea and here at Inter as well, I'm very happy to be a player of Inter and a player of Mourinho and I want to prove myself even more."

Your shirt is the number 10. What is your favourite role?
"I think I'm an attacking midfielder, so playing behind the strikers, yes, it's my position. The shirt number? If I start playing in this position it will be perfect."

The last Dutch number 10 at Inter was Bergkamp. Did you talk to him? Did you know that his adventure here was full of ups and downs? Are you ready for the derby?
"Actually I didn't speak to Dennis Bergkamp before but I think he's an example for every young player. He's an amazing player with lots of qualities. I hope I can do the same as what he did here during the good times. My shirt number isn't important. I just want to help the team. The derby? Yes, I would obviously like to play the derby. Everyone wants to play the big games. Will I play? I can't say anything about this game. We will see tomorrow."

Could you please explain to us why the negotiations were a bit slow?
"Yes, I know but I think that life at Real Madrid was perfect. My situation changed a lot in the last week. You have to talk about your future, think about your future. If you sign a four or five-year deal you have to be one hundred percent sure. Last week I was one hundred percent sure and the deal went through."

What do you know about the Italian championship and Inter?
"Like I said before, Inter is one of the biggest teams in the world and for sure in Italy. There were some Dutch players before in this club and some big players before. We have a great team in this moment so I think I will have a great time here. I had one guy in Ajax before, the team manager, his name was David Endt and he said 'one day you will play for Inter'. Yesterday he called me and said 'finally you have joined my club'."

When you arrived you said you had already spoken to Mourinho. What did he say to convince you to join Inter?
"It's important when you make decisions that the coach is 100% behind you and I can say that Mourinho is 100% behind me so this was a very big part of my decision."

Did you choose the number 10 shirt or did Mourinho give it to you?
"It was given to me. I don't know if it was the coach, but I suppose so."

How much did the 2010 World Cup influence your decision to join Inter? Were you given any advice or pressure from the Dutch national team coach?
"Actually I was thinking about my future and to sign a new contract for a new team for a long long time, not just for one tournament. I wasn't thinking about the World Cup, I wanted to be sure about my future. If I stayed at Real Madrid and didn't play that would have been another thing, but now I'm at Inter and I have to play my game. The World Cup wasn't the biggest point that influenced my decision."

Would you have preferred Real Madrid to Barcelona in the first Champions League game?
"No. I don't mind. It's nice to play against a Spanish team and to play against Barcelona will be amazing. I'm happy to play against Barcelona."

Lucio, Lucio, Wherefore Art Thou Lucio?

This week we welcome a new member of the Inter family, Lucimar Ferreira da Silva. That’s him down there.

Lucio is currently the captain and starting centerback of the Brazilian National Team. He was formerly the starting Center Back for Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Monaco (Otherwise known as Bayern Munchen or Bayern Munich for those who missed this gem of an exchange: “As for Lo Monaco I do not know who he is. With the name Monaco I have heard of Bayern Monaco and the Monaco GP, the Tibetan Monaco, and the Principality of Monaco. I have never heard of any others.”)

Lucio has decided to throw his lot with us for the low, low price of 5 million Euros.

Lucio had been a starter on Bayer Leverkusen from 2001, when he was 23 years old, until 2004. Highlights of his stay in Leverkusen include scoring in the Champions League Finals versus Galaticos 1.0. He played over 90 games and scored 15 goals in the Bundesliga. He added 22 more games and 3 more goals in Europe.

In 2004, when he was 26, he joined Bayern Monaco. In his 5 years with Monaco he played 144 games in the Bundesliga and scored 7 times. He added 45 more games in Europe and scored 4 more times for Monaco. He was recently named Vice-Captain.

He played every minute of every game Brazil played in the 2002 World Cup. In 2006, as most of you know Brazil lost to France in a 1-0 quarter final game.

His trophy cabinet is pretty full as well. He has a World Cup, 3 Bundesliga Championships a brace of Confederations Cups, 3 DFB Cups and 3 DFB Supercups.

Okay, now that we have his CV down, I think we can say that he’s certainly qualified. To reiterate the question in the title, what is his purpose?

His purpose is not to play “hard man” Walter Samuel defense, although he can certainly do that if he needs to. If that were the only reason to go after him, then we could have gotten lots of guys to do that. The reason we went after Lucio is because he can carry the ball forward and play in between the “bands” as Mourinho puts it.

If one were to draw up the traditional line up of a football team on paper, you would have a defensive line, a midfield line and a forward line. Mourinho’s ideas center on playing and pressuring the ball in between the traditional positions or “bands”. For example, everybody on earth can tell you that Mourinoho favors a 4-3-3. But he doesn’t really. He really favors playing different formations based on whether his team has the ball or not. For example, on attack the 4-3-3 could become the 2-1-3-4 or the 4-3-2-1 on defense.

And Lucio really plays in between the defensive “bands” and the midfield “bands” in kind of the same way that Mario really plays in between the midfield and the forwards. He plays a little higher up on defense – perfect for collecting those through balls and lobs to attacking players making runs in those spaces that exist in traditional formations. He can also bring the ball forward a bit. So, theoretically, the attacking play for our team starts further up the pitch and hopefully negates a lot of our forwards having to come back too far to get the ball.

Is Lucio perfect? No, by the very nature of his position he often has to confront attacking players who are attacking in space. We all should know by now that attacking players like space to work in and defensive players try like hell to limit the space of attacking players. So, since he’s working in space he’s going to get burned sometimes. That’s the nature of playing a high line – ask Juventus last season. The idea is that there is going to be cover, but nothing is perfect. The gamble is that he’ll clean up those troublesome through balls – more than let through and hurt us, anyway – and then launch the counter attack.

So, in practical terms, whose spot does he take? He should be in a rotation with Samuel, Chivu and Cordoba. He’s a better Center Back than Burdisso and probably more mobile than Materazzi – who he shares a lot of characteristics with, in my opinion. He also has a nice mean streak when his tail is up and he can be pretty ruthless when the occasion calls for it.

So welcome Lucio, I hope that he can form good partnerships with the other defensemen and hasten the departure of Rivas and Burdisso.

Eto'o-Inter: it's official!

The Cameroon striker has signed with the Nerazzurri until 2014. He will be officially introduced tomorrow: "I am here to win everything. I have made history at Barcelona, but that history is finished now. A new story begins at Inter. I promise to work as hard as I have always done. That's how goals are made"

MILAN, 27 July 2009 - Samuel Eto'o is now an Inter player, as of 8:37 PM, when the striker signed a 5-year deal with Inter (until 2014), in the presence of Inter director Marco Branca, market consultant Gabriele Oriali, attorney Angelo Cappellini and the player's agents José Mesalles and Claudio Vigorelli. The official presentation of the former Barcelona centre-forward to the media will take place tomorrow at 2:30 PM in Appiano Gentile.

THE ARRIVAL Eto'o arrived in Milan at 8:35 this morning. Soon thereafter, he got his first taste of a crowd, even if this time around there were "only" reporters, photographers and people doing their work. His first comment was for Moratti: "He is a great man." Then, he addressed his new "colleagues": "Congratulations to my team-mates for winning already the first derby."

OFF THE PLANE Ready to welcome the player upon his arrival at Linate were attorney José María Mesalles and Inter's communications director Paolo Viganò, who flew back from the United States for this event. "I am very happy to be at Inter. I am here to work and win the Champions League title," added the Cameroon international who spent his first day in Milan undergoing medical examinations, first in Milan and then in Pavia.

MAKING HISTORY After undergoing medical examinations in the morning at the CONI's sports medicine institute, Eto'o travelled to Pavia and talked about his goals: "I have made history at Barcelona, but that history is finished now. A new story begins at Inter, I'm starting from scratch. I would like a new adventure and I hope everything goes well. I can't but wish Ibrahimovic good luck. I won many things at Barcelona and now I hope to do the same with these colours, if not more. I thank President Moratti who has been instrumental in brining me to Inter. I hope to repay him with my work on the pitch. Now it's important to regain my physical form and join the team to work together."

The move has been announced on FC Twente's official website, which reports that the Dutch club have successfully completed negotiations with Inter for the transfer of Marko Arnautovic.

The 20-year-old will arrive at San Siro on a one-year loan with the Nerazzurri given an option to buy the Austrian after he has made 10 appearances for the Italian club. The price for a permanent transfer is reported to be around €9m.

Should Inter not make the move permanent for one reason or another, Arnautovic will return to Twente where he will remain under contract for two further seasons, with an option of a one-year extension.

The move was set to be officially announced some time back, but Inter then re-negotiated the deal in light of a stress fracture to Arnautovic's right foot.

Despite the injury, Arnautovic established himself as a quality striker in Holland's Eredivisie last season as he scored 12 goals in 28 games. Since making his debut for Twente on 14 April 2007, he has scored 14 goals in 58 games.

Inter had been criticised from some quarters for a lack of options up front, but now have three new strikers in Arnautovic, Samuel Eto'o and Diego Milito. In addition, Jose Mourinho can call on David Suazo and Mario Balotelli to play in attack, and the coach can now put all of his efforts into signing the elusive trequartista.

Inter have announced that Genoa midfielder Thiago Motta has joined the club on a permanent transfer, signing a four-year contract at the San Siro. The move has been touted for over a month, but was not officially confirmed until July 1.

"FC Internazionale are pleased to announce that Thiago Motta has joined the club on a four-year deal from Genoa," began a statement on the club's official website, inter.it.

"The Brazilian midfielder, born in Sao Bernardo do Campo on August 28, 1982, has put pen to paper on a contract which will run until June 30, 2013. The documents relating to the transfer have been registered at the Italian Football League's offices."

The fee of the transfer was undisclosed, but the Nerazzurri did reveal a number of youngsters would be moving in the opposite direction.

Striker Diego Milito has finally made his move from Genoa to Inter, as confirmed by the Italian champions' official website.

The deal had been agreed for some time, but was formalised on Monday evening. The Argentine now has a contract at the San Siro until June 2013 and is a welcome addition to the Nerazzurri strike force.

Meanwhile, youngster Robert Acquafresca moves in the opposite direction on a permanent transfer after spending this past season on-loan at Cagliari. The player recently scored three goals at the Under-21 championships in Sweden, but may not be staying with the Grifoni.

The striker wants to be an automatic first choice upfront and is close to securing a likely temporary move to Atalanta.

RS OMNI DAPATKAN PASIEN DARI HASIL LAB FIKTIF

Jangan sampai kejadian saya ini menimpa ke nyawa manusia lainnya. Terutama anak-anak, lansia, dan bayi. Bila anda berobat berhati-hatilah dengan kemewahan rumah sakit (RS) dan title international karena semakin mewah RS dan semakin pintar dokter maka semakin sering uji coba pasien, penjualan obat, dan suntikan.

Saya tidak mengatakan semua RS international seperti ini tapi saya mengalami kejadian ini di RS Omni International. Tepatnya tanggal 7 Agustus 2008 jam 20.30 WIB. Saya dengan kondisi panas tinggi dan pusing kepala datang ke RS OMNI Internasional dengan percaya bahwa RS tersebut berstandar International, yang tentunya pasti mempunyai ahli kedokteran dan manajemen yang bagus.

Saya diminta ke UGD dan mulai diperiksa suhu badan saya dan hasilnya 39 derajat. Setelah itu dilakukan pemeriksaan darah dan hasilnya adalah trombosit saya 27.000 dengan kondisi normalnya adalah 200.000. Saya diinformasikan dan ditangani oleh dr I (umum) dan dinyatakan saya wajib rawat inap. dr I melakukan pemeriksaan lab ulang dengan sample darah saya yang sama dan hasilnya dinyatakan masih sama yaitu thrombosit 27.000.

dr I menanyakan dokter specialist mana yang akan saya gunakan. Tapi, saya meminta referensi darinya karena saya sama sekali buta dengan RS ini. Lalu referensi dr I adalah dr H. dr H memeriksa kondisi saya dan saya menanyakan saya sakit apa dan dijelaskan bahwa ini sudah positif demam berdarah.

Mulai malam itu saya diinfus dan diberi suntikan tanpa penjelasan atau izin pasien atau keluarga pasien suntikan tersebut untuk apa. Keesokan pagi, dr H visit saya dan menginformasikan bahwa ada revisi hasil lab semalam. Bukan 27.000 tapi 181.000 (hasil lab bisa dilakukan revisi?). Saya kaget tapi dr H terus memberikan instruksi ke suster perawat supaya diberikan berbagai macam suntikan yang saya tidak tahu dan tanpa izin pasien atau keluarga pasien.

Saya tanya kembali jadi saya sakit apa sebenarnya dan tetap masih sama dengan jawaban semalam bahwa saya kena demam berdarah. Saya sangat khawatir karena di rumah saya memiliki 2 anak yang masih batita. Jadi saya lebih memilih berpikir positif tentang RS dan dokter ini supaya saya cepat sembuh dan saya percaya saya ditangani oleh dokter profesional standard Internatonal.

Mulai Jumat terebut saya diberikan berbagai macam suntikan yang setiap suntik tidak ada keterangan apa pun dari suster perawat, dan setiap saya meminta keterangan tidak mendapatkan jawaban yang memuaskan. Lebih terkesan suster hanya menjalankan perintah dokter dan pasien harus menerimanya. Satu boks lemari pasien penuh dengan infus dan suntikan disertai banyak ampul.

Tangan kiri saya mulai membengkak. Saya minta dihentikan infus dan suntikan dan minta ketemu dengan dr H. Namun, dokter tidak datang sampai saya dipindahkan ke ruangan. Lama kelamaan suhu badan saya makin naik kembali ke 39 derajat dan datang dokter pengganti yang saya juga tidak tahu dokter apa. Setelah dicek dokter tersebut hanya mengatakan akan menunggu dr H saja.

Esoknya dr H datang sore hari dengan hanya menjelaskan ke suster untuk memberikan obat berupa suntikan lagi. Saya tanyakan ke dokter tersebut saya sakit apa sebenarnya dan dijelaskan saya kena virus udara. Saya tanyakan berarti bukan kena demam berdarah. Tapi, dr H tetap menjelaskan bahwa demam berdarah tetap virus udara. Saya dipasangkan kembali infus sebelah kanan dan kembali diberikan suntikan yang sakit sekali.

Malamnya saya diberikan suntikan 2 ampul sekaligus dan saya terserang sesak napas selama 15 menit dan diberikan oxygen. Dokter jaga datang namun hanya berkata menunggu dr H saja.

Jadi malam itu saya masih dalam kondisi infus. Padahal tangan kanan saya pun mengalami pembengkakan seperti tangan kiri saya. Saya minta dengan paksa untuk diberhentikan infusnya dan menolak dilakukan suntikan dan obat-obatan.

Esoknya saya dan keluarga menuntut dr H untuk ketemu dengan kami. Namun, janji selalu diulur-ulur dan baru datang malam hari. Suami dan kakak-kakak saya menuntut penjelasan dr H mengenai sakit saya, suntikan, hasil lab awal yang 27.000 menjadi revisi 181.000 dan serangan sesak napas yang dalam riwayat hidup saya belum pernah terjadi. Kondisi saya makin parah dengan membengkaknya leher kiri dan mata kiri.

dr H tidak memberikan penjelasan dengan memuaskan. Dokter tersebut malah mulai memberikan instruksi ke suster untuk diberikan obat-obatan kembali dan menyuruh tidak digunakan infus kembali. Kami berdebat mengenai kondisi saya dan meminta dr H bertanggung jawab mengenai ini dari hasil lab yang pertama yang seharusnya saya bisa rawat jalan saja. dr H menyalahkan bagian lab dan tidak bisa memberikan keterangan yang memuaskan.

Keesokannya kondisi saya makin parah dengan leher kanan saya juga mulai membengkak dan panas kembali menjadi 39 derajat. Namun, saya tetap tidak mau dirawat di RS ini lagi dan mau pindah ke RS lain. Tapi, saya membutuhkan data medis yang lengkap dan lagi-lagi saya dipermainkan dengan diberikan data medis yang fiktif.

Dalam catatan medis diberikan keterangan bahwa bab (buang air besar) saya lancar padahal itu kesulitan saya semenjak dirawat di RS ini tapi tidak ada follow up-nya sama sekali. Lalu hasil lab yang diberikan adalah hasil thrombosit saya yang 181.000 bukan 27.000.

Saya ngotot untuk diberikan data medis hasil lab 27.000 namun sangat dikagetkan bahwa hasil lab 27.000 tersebut tidak dicetak dan yang tercetak adalah 181.000. Kepala lab saat itu adalah dr M dan setelah saya komplain dan marah-marah dokter tersebut mengatakan bahwa catatan hasil lab 27.000 tersebut ada di Manajemen Omni. Maka saya desak untuk bertemu langsung dengan Manajemen yang memegang hasil lab tersebut.

Saya mengajukan komplain tertulis ke Manajemen Omni dan diterima oleh Og(Customer Service Coordinator) dan saya minta tanda terima. Dalam tanda terima tersebut hanya ditulis saran bukan komplain. Saya benar-benar dipermainkan oleh Manajemen Omni dengan staff Og yang tidak ada service-nya sama sekali ke customer melainkan seperti mencemooh tindakan saya meminta tanda terima pengajuan komplain tertulis.

Dalam kondisi sakit saya dan suami saya ketemu dengan manajemen. Atas nama Og (Customer Service Coordinator) dan dr G (Customer Service Manager) dan diminta memberikan keterangan kembali mengenai kejadian yang terjadi dengan saya.

Saya benar-benar habis kesabaran dan saya hanya meminta surat pernyataan dari lab RS ini mengenai hasil lab awal saya adalah 27.000 bukan 181.000. Makanya saya diwajibkan masuk ke RS ini padahal dengan kondisi thrombosit 181.000 saya masih bisa rawat jalan.

Tanggapan dr G yang katanya adalah penanggung jawab masalah komplain saya ini tidak profesional sama sekali. Tidak menanggapi komplain dengan baik. Dia mengelak bahwa lab telah memberikan hasil lab 27.000 sesuai dr M informasikan ke saya. Saya minta duduk bareng antara lab, Manajemen, dan dr H. Namun, tidak bisa dilakukan dengan alasan akan dirundingkan ke atas (Manajemen) dan berjanji akan memberikan surat tersebut jam 4 sore.

Setelah itu saya ke RS lain dan masuk ke perawatan dalam kondisi saya dimasukkan dalam ruangan isolasi karena virus saya ini menular. Menurut analisa ini adalah sakitnya anak-anak yaitu sakit gondongan namun sudah parah karena sudah membengkak. Kalau kena orang dewasa laki-laki bisa terjadi impoten dan perempuan ke pankreas dan kista.

Saya lemas mendengarnya dan benar-benar marah dengan RS Omni yang telah membohongi saya dengan analisa sakit demam berdarah dan sudah diberikan suntikan macam-macam dengan dosis tinggi sehingga mengalami sesak napas. Saya tanyakan mengenai suntikan tersebut ke RS yang baru ini dan memang saya tidak kuat dengan suntikan dosis tinggi sehingga terjadi sesak napas.

Suami saya datang kembali ke RS Omni menagih surat hasil lab 27.000 tersebut namun malah dihadapkan ke perundingan yang tidak jelas dan meminta diberikan waktu besok pagi datang langsung ke rumah saya. Keesokan paginya saya tunggu kabar orang rumah sampai jam 12 siang belum ada orang yang datang dari Omni memberikan surat tersebut.

Saya telepon dr G sebagai penanggung jawab kompain dan diberikan keterangan bahwa kurirnya baru mau jalan ke rumah saya. Namun, sampai jam 4 sore saya tunggu dan ternyata belum ada juga yang datang ke rumah saya. Kembali saya telepon dr G dan dia mengatakan bahwa sudah dikirim dan ada tanda terima atas nama Rukiah.

Ini benar-benar kebohongan RS yang keterlaluan sekali. Di rumah saya tidak ada nama Rukiah. Saya minta disebutkan alamat jelas saya dan mencari datanya sulit sekali dan membutuhkan waktu yang lama. LOgkanya dalam tanda terima tentunya ada alamat jelas surat tertujunya ke mana kan? Makanya saya sebut Manajemen Omni pembohon besar semua. Hati-hati dengan permainan mereka yang mempermainkan nyawa orang.

Terutama dr G dan Og, tidak ada sopan santun dan etika mengenai pelayanan customer, tidak sesuai dengan standard international yang RS ini cantum.

Saya bilang ke dr G, akan datang ke Omni untuk mengambil surat tersebut dan ketika suami saya datang ke Omni hanya dititipkan ke resepsionis saja dan pas dibaca isi suratnya sungguh membuat sakit hati kami.

Pihak manajemen hanya menyebutkan mohon maaf atas ketidaknyamanan kami dan tidak disebutkan mengenai kesalahan lab awal yang menyebutkan 27.000 dan dilakukan revisi 181.000 dan diberikan suntikan yang mengakibatkan kondisi kesehatan makin memburuk dari sebelum masuk ke RS Omni.

Kenapa saya dan suami saya ngotot dengan surat tersebut? Karena saya ingin tahu bahwa sebenarnya hasil lab 27.000 itu benar ada atau fiktif saja supaya RS Omni mendapatkan pasien rawat inap.

Dan setelah beberapa kali kami ditipu dengan janji maka sebenarnya adalah hasil lab saya 27.000 adalah fiktif dan yang sebenarnya saya tidak perlu rawat inap dan tidak perlu ada suntikan dan sesak napas dan kesehatan saya tidak makin parah karena bisa langsung tertangani dengan baik.

Saya dirugikan secara kesehatan. Mungkin dikarenakan biaya RS ini dengan asuransi makanya RS ini seenaknya mengambil limit asuransi saya semaksimal mungkin. Tapi, RS ini tidak memperdulikan efek dari keserakahan ini.

Sdr Og menyarankan saya bertemu dengan direktur operasional RS Omni (dr B). Namun, saya dan suami saya sudah terlalu lelah mengikuti permainan kebohongan mereka dengan kondisi saya masih sakit dan dirawat di RS lain.

Syukur Alhamdulilah saya mulai membaik namun ada kondisi mata saya yang selaput atasnya robek dan terkena virus sehingga penglihatan saya tidak jelas dan apabila terkena sinar saya tidak tahan dan ini membutuhkan waktu yang cukup untuk menyembuhkan.

Setiap kehidupan manusia pasti ada jalan hidup dan nasibnya masing-masing. Benar. Tapi, apabila nyawa manusia dipermainkan oleh sebuah RS yang dipercaya untuk menyembuhkan malah mempermainkan sungguh mengecewakan.

Semoga Allah memberikan hati nurani ke Manajemen dan dokter RS Omni supaya diingatkan kembali bahwa mereka juga punya keluarga, anak, orang tua yang tentunya suatu saat juga sakit dan membutuhkan medis. Mudah-mudahan tidak terjadi seperti yang saya alami di RS Omni ini.

Saya sangat mengharapkan mudah-mudahan salah satu pembaca adalah karyawan atau dokter atau Manajemen RS Omni. Tolong sampaikan ke dr G, dr H, dr M, dan Og bahwa jangan sampai pekerjaan mulia kalian sia-sia hanya demi perusahaan Anda. Saya informasikan juga dr H praktek di RSCM juga. Saya tidak mengatakan RSCM buruk tapi lebih hati-hati dengan perawatan medis dari dokter ini.

Inter won their fourth successive Scudetto a couple of weeks ago, following Milan’s failure to pick up any points on their travels to Udinese. They celebrated the occasion by smashing three past a hapless Siena side 24 hours later, only to suffer a disappointing 2-1 loss at the hands of Cagliari last weekend.

The Nerazzurri were keen to turn this form around, as they looked to end the season off on a high, in what was set to be Luis Figo’s last ever match for the club against Atalanta. His side were unfortunately without the injured Maxwell and Nelson Rivas yet again, as well as Marco Materazzi, who was ruled out only hours prior to kick-off. Meanwhile, their opponents had a quartet of players missing through injury, as Ferreira Pinto, Diego De Ascentis, Jaime Valdes, and the Genoa-bound Sergio Floccari all watched from the sidelines.

First Half

The visitors got the play underway at the San Siro stadium, and despite having little to play for, they pressed forward with real purpose in the opening minute. It didn’t take the home side long to find their feet though, as they enjoyed the lions share of possession in the first five minutes, looking extremely threatening when in attack.

It took Inter just six minutes to open the scoring, as Muntari broke the deadlock with a straightforward strike from close range. Zanetti’s wide pass to Figo, led to the Portuguese veteran skipping past two opponents and then delivering a dangerous ball into the area. A fumble by the keeper Consigli resulted in the ball falling to the feet of Muntari, who made no mistake with a right footed effort.

The Nerazzurri were in full control, however completely against the run of play, the visitors immediately struck back through Doni, who levelled proceedings after 10 minutes of play. An inch perfect cross from a corner taken by Guarente, picked out an unmarked Doni, who easily guided his header past Julio Cesar to make it 1-1.

There is a reason why Jose Mourinho’s men are the champions, and they proved it just two minutes later, when Ibrahimovic gave his side the lead once again. A long ball forward by Cambiasso fell into the path of an on-side Ibra, who took a touch, and then buried a powerful effort into the bottom corner, giving Consigli no chance whatsoever.

Both sides had glorious opportunities to add to their respective tallies over the next ten minute period, as firstly Ibra squandered a massive chance for the champions, after some great play by Balotelli. Moments following this, Garics picked out an unmarked Plasmati in the area, however the forward’s header was high and wide of the target.

Astonishingly the fourth goal of the match was scored on 25 minutes, as Cigarini levelled proceedings once again. After some havoc on the edge of the area, the ball spilled loose, allowing the midfielder to take full advantage of it, and smash a wild drive into the top right corner to make it 2-2.

Inter should have reclaimed the lead on 31 or 33 minutes respectively, as Figo was firstly denied a one on one opportunity with Consigli, following an incorrect offside decision by the linesman. Moments later, Ibrahimovic could have secured his Capocannoniere award, had he not hit his volley from inside the six yard box onto the roof of the stadium.

The tempo of the match completely dropped off in the final ten minutes, however there was one moment of significance in this period, as Luis Figo came from the field, bringing an end to his glittering career with the club. Santon was brought on in his place to see out the remaining minute of play, however his presence would not be enough to alter the score line, as the two sides left the field deadlocked at 2-2.

Second Half

Prior to the commencement of the second half, the Atalanta coach Luigi Delneri made his first change of the match, and it was surprisingly a change in goal, as Consigli made way for Coppola. The substitute was immediately called into action, as he was forced to keep out a number of efforts from the dominant Ibrahimovic, who looked keen to add to his tally in the contest.

Incredibly on 55 minutes, Doni grabbed his second goal of the afternoon to give his
side the lead. A free kick around 25 yards from goal was awarded to the visitors, following a tough challenge on Plasmati by Samuel. Doni stepped up to take the free kick, and he made it look easy, as his stunning effort impressively curled into the top corner.

The champions were stunned, and it was evident, as they struggled to impose themselves and re-establish their dominance of the first half. Out of nothing though, Muntari found the back of the net with a spectacular overhead kick on the hour mark, one that was immediately ruled out for offside though, meaning that the visitors maintained their slender advantage.

Atalanta should have had a fourth just moments later, after Padoin committed what will go down as one of the misses of the season. Doni’s perfect cross into the area, picked out Padoin at the back post, however he somehow sent his tap in wide of the target. The midfielder was keen to make amends just three minutes later, when he saw a long range effort crash into the crossbar, denying him another opportunity to get his name onto the scoresheet.

Mourinho immediately acted by making a double substitution, as Maicon and Crespo entered the field of play, in the place of Chivu and Stankovic respectively. The pair almost combined for what would have been the equalising goal on 68 minutes, as the Brazilian’s cross met the head of the Argentine hitman, however his header was also denied by the woodwork, adding further drama to an already dramatic encounter.

Inter had a second goal ruled out in the space of 15 minutes, when Crespo was adjudged to be in an offside position with just over a quarter of an hour remaining. A free kick by Balotelli was met by the head of Ibrahimovic, who flicked the ball to Crespo, allowing the Argentinean to direct the ball towards the goal. Coppola was beaten, however the linesman harshly decided that he was in an offside position, meaning that the goal did not stand.

All of the Nerazzurri’s hard work paid off on 78 minutes though, when Cambiasso finally grabbed a well deserved goal for his side, one that came about from their 14th corner of the match. The corner fell to the feet of Muntari, who tested his luck from close range to no avail. His Argentinean team mate Cambiasso pounced on to the lose ball however, to stab it home from inside the area.

Time To Celebrate… Again

After officially winning the Serie A title two weekends ago, which was already boisterously celebrated by players and fans alike, the Inter squad will be handed their medals and the new ‘Scudetto Cup’ following the match this Sunday afternoon against Atalanta. The Bergamaschi have nothing left to play for, so don’t expect a gritty, hard-fought encounter, but there will certainly be a great atmosphere in the stadium as the fans will get to see their idols celebrate their title on the pitch.

Coach Jose Mourinho struck gold, at least domestically, in his first season at the club, but has he managed to make them improve or progress in any significant way since replacing Roberto Mancini? Looking purely at the results, the answer would be no. The team went out of the Champions League at the last 16 stage, just like last season, and if they beat Atalanta their points total will be one less than what Mancini managed in his final season at the club, when he also won the league. Also, they failed to reach the Coppa Italia final, while with Mancini they had reached it four consecutive times.

One could point out that the team have had to suffer much less than last season to win the Scudetto, but that was mostly because Roma proved to be fiercely competitive last year, while this season neither Juventus nor Milan ever looked like they would seriously challenge Inter’s crown. It could also be said that Inter played better football under Mancini, and were less dependent on Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but one has the feeling Mourinho has managed to create a better atmosphere in the dressing room, as not everyone was on Mancini´s good side when he was the coach.

Inter also looked more competitive than in other years in their Champions League tie against Manchester United, and could definitely have knocked out the then-European champions with a bit more luck and clinical finishing. This bodes well for Inter’s future European adventures, which is what they will presumably be focusing on even more starting next season. Mourinho recently extended his contract with the club to 2012, ending rumours that he might leave for Real Madrid after just one season at Inter, so he will have plenty of time to mould the team in his image.

This season he has mostly had to fall back on Mancini’s tactics to achieve success, as his initial preferred 4-3-3 system didn’t work out well at all, mostly due to the flops that were new signings Amantino Mancini and Ricardo Quaresma. This summer he will undoubtedly bring in a few new players, after already securing Genoa´s Diego Milito and Thiago Motta, so it´s likely that next season we will really see what Mourinho wants Inter to be like.

Solid Season For Atalanta

It’s been another solid season for Luigi Del Neri’s Atalanta, who have never really been in danger of getting relegated, although they were also never able to challenge for anything more than a safe survival either. Considering the squad they have available, however, this is probably the best they could have done.

One of the highlights for them, perhaps their best match of the season, was the one against Inter back in January. Jose Mourinho’s team were completely outplayed at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia, conceding three goals within the first half hour, and it could have been worse as Atalanta hit the woodwork twice in the second half. The match finished 3-1, with Ibrahimovic scoring only a late consolation goal, and a few weeks later, they also thrashed Roma at home 3-0.

Coach Del Neri has done a decent job at the club since joining them two years ago, but he has announced he will leave Bergamo this summer, most likely moving to Sampdoria. While Atalanta are a stable Serie A club, they are not the most ambitious in the peninsula, as for them staying in the top flight is worth almost as much as winning a Scudetto for the top teams.

Recent matches at San Siro against Inter don’t bode well for Atalanta. Inter have won eight of their last nine home fixtures against the Orobici, although the last they did manage to win, in the 2001-02 season, they played a decisive role in the Nerazzurri’s downfall which led to them losing the Scudetto to Juventus in the infamous May 5, 2002 match against Lazio.

The champions of Italy suffered their fourth defeat of the campaign, as Cagliari continued their impressive run this season.

Pre-Match And Team News

Inter won their fourth successive Scudetto last weekend, following Milan’s failure to pick up any points on their travels to Udinese. They celebrated the occasion by smashing three past a hapless Siena side 24 hours later, and consequently they were looking to continue their good form as the season came to a close in this particular match.

As was the case last weekend, the Nerazzurri were without the injured trio of Maicon, Maxwell and Nelson Rivas, whilst their opponents Cagliari had a quartet of players missing through injury, as Rafael Acosta, Paolo Bianco, Alessandro Matri and Daniele Biondini all watched from the sidelines.

First Half

The home side got the play underway at the Sant’Elia stadium, and despite having little to play for in this match, they pressed forward with real purpose in the opening minute. Toldo found himself under immediate pressure from the Cagliari players, however he dealt with everything that was thrown at him in the early stages.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic continued his brilliant form this season with the opening goal after just eight minutes, following a great build up play. After picking up the ball around 30 yards from goal, Ibra worked his way through the opposing back four, to then fake a shot and eventually hit a powerful effort that was too much for Marchetti to handle.

The Swede was in the thick of the action moments later, as some neat work between he and Santon looked likely to set up a great chance on goal, however the young defender was brought down on the edge of the area with what looked to be a certain foul. The referee did not agree with the players though, despite the replays indicating that they certainly had a case.

The Rossoblu slowly started to get themselves into the match following this point, as they heaped the pressure on Toldo and the Nerazzurri back four. Cossu and Fini were responsible for orchestrating a large number of the forward movements, however the veteran keeper and Materazzi in particular, denied the home side the chance to draw level midway through the half.

They managed to get their reward after 34 minutes of play, through Cossu, who grabbed a well deserved equaliser. After being played through on goal, the midfielder easily made his way past Burdisso by faking a shot, which then allowed him to coolly slot the ball past Toldo to level the score at 1-1.

Cagliari continued to look the more threatening in the latter stages of the first half; however unfortunately for their sake, the Inter back four were determined not to concede a second prior to the half time interval. The champions were successful in doing exactly that, as the sides left the field all square as they started.

Second Half

As was the case in the first half, the home side started the brighter, as Acquafresca and Fini looked to get things going in the opening minutes of play. The Nerazzurri back four were under pressure right from the onset, as Burdisso was forced to make a decisive challenge after just six minutes into the half, to deny Acquafresca the chance to put his side ahead.

Inter had a golden opportunity to reclaim the lead on 53 minutes, when an inch perfect ball into the area by Santon was not taken full advantage of, as both Ibrahimovic and Cruz in particular squandered opportunities. The latter failed to make any contact with the ball, despite finding himself in an unmarked position at the back post.

Moments later, Allegri made the first change of the afternoon, as Parola was brought on in the place of Biondini. The substitute almost had an immediate impact, as he was involved in a play that led to Cossu chipping a ball to the back post, which forced Chivu into making yet another decisive clearance to deny Acquafresca. Following this, Mourinho made his first switch of the match, as Balotelli came on for Cruz.

The exhausting heat was beginning to take its toll on the players, which led to both coaches making their second changes of the contest. The Rossoblu introduced Lazzari in the place of Fini, to add some much needed energy in to the midfield, whilst the Nerazzurri welcomed Mancini onto the pitch, with Jimenez making way.

Incredibly Cagliari took the lead just moments following the Inter substitution, as Acquafresca grabbed his side’s second of the afternoon. A fantastic build up play led to Biondini with the ball at his feet on the right, and his glorious cross into the area was made the most of by the head of the Genoa-bound Acquafresca.

As the clock entered the final ten minutes, the opportunities began to dry up, as the home side looked determined to take three points away from this clash against the recently crowned champions of Italy. The Nerazzurri surged forward in numbers, however they simply could not find a way through the resolute Rossoblu defence.

Vieira made a mess of what was arguably the Nerazzurri’s best opportunity in the final minutes of the match, as he failed to make the most of a glorious through ball by Ibrahimovic. The Frenchman’s dreadful first touch allowed his opponents to clear the danger, and hold onto their slight advantage.

The referee’s whistle after five minutes of stoppage time brought the match to an
end, a contest that astonishingly ended in favour of the home side. The Rossoblu continued their impressive run of form this season, and their latest victory over the champions of Italy will see them comfortably finish in the top half of the standings at the conclusion of the campaign.

Nearly all cancers are caused by abnormalities in the genetic material of the transformed cells[citation needed]. Not Much To Play For Any More

After winning their 17th Scudetto last week thanks to city rivals Milan’s defeat by Udinese, Inter can face their last two league games in relaxed mood, and no doubt the club’s management are already working to strengthen the team ahead of next season. Indeed, they have already completed their first two signings in midweek, bringing in striker Diego Milito and Thiago Motta from Genoa, who in exchange were handed the ownership of promising Cagliari striker Robert Acquafresca.

This is a move that has caused some controversy among Inter fans, as some consider Milito too old to be given his first chance at a big club, while it’s also questionable why Thiago Motta was sold by Barcelona while he was theoretically at the peak of his powers, at 25 years of age. Meanwhile, 21-year-old Acquafresca is considered a promising youngster, who has scored an impressive 12 goals this season for the Grifoni.

However, with the likes of Hernan Crespo and Julio Cruz likely to leave the club, it was clear Inter needed a goalpoacher, and Milito has an excellent goalscoring record over the past few seasons, although as said this will be his first stint at a ‘big’ club – his previous clubs being Racing Avellaneda, Real Zaragoza, and Genoa. It’s likely that, with Cruz and Crespo presumably out of the picture, Milito will not be the only striker Inter add to their squad this summer.

Most fans would agree, however, that the most important thing will be to keep Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has had possibly his best season ever, with 22 goals scored so far. The Swede is currently the only player in the world to have led his teams to league titles in six consecutive seasons: firstly one with Ajax, then two with Juventus (later revoked), and now his third with Inter. This indicates just how decisive a player he has become, and it’s only down to bad luck that he hasn’t had much success in European competitions yet.

Sadly for the Nerazzurri faithful, ‘Ibra’ has expressed uncertainty over his future on more than one occasion, precisely because of his disappointments on the European stage. However, a lot of that has been down to him, because he could easily have scored twice in Inter’s match at Old Trafford against Manchester United, in possibly their best performance of the season. In that particular match, Jose Mourinho’s side showed they can be competitive against the biggest teams in the world. If they play the same way in the big matches next season, and Ibrahimovic manages to get rid of his own mental ‘Champions League block’, he may not have anything to complain about any more a year from now.

Cagliari Want To End Great Season Well

It’s been a wonderful season for Massimiliano Allegri’s Cagliari side, who have managed to entertain their fans with good football and even challenge for a Europa League spot for large parts of the season. Not bad for a club that started out with the simple aim of staying in the top flight, and lost their first five consecutive matches.

The progress the Sardinians have made since then has been unbelievable. Although last week’s defeat away to Reggina ended their hopes of actually playing in Europe, and lately they have suffered a slight dip in form, that should not take the gloss off their extraordinary season in the least. Indeed, it has even led to coach Allegri getting linked with a move to Milan, although that is admittedly unlikely.

Some of their results against the big sides have also been impressive, as they managed to win 3-2 in Turin against Juventus, and left the San Siro with a 1-1 draw against Inter that could easily have been a victory with all the chances Cagliari wasted. They also beat Lazio 4-1 in Rome, and recently held Roma to a 2-2 draw at the Sant’Elia, in a match where they squandered a two-goal lead.

With nothing left to play for in this match for either team, it could be an unexpectedly entertaining match. The Rossoblu are traditionally strong at home, although this season they have suffered four home defeats. Recent home matches against Inter have gone well for them, as they have lost just once against them since returning to Serie A in 2004, their only defeat coming last season when goals by Julio Cruz and former Cagliari man David Suazo made sure of the points for the Nerazzurri.

Earlier this week he learned he will play next season for Genoa, after Inter agreed to give up his ownership in exchange for Diego Milito and Thiago Motta. Not everyone agrees this was the right move, as the 21-year-old striker has shown great potential this season, nearly allowing Cagliari to qualify for the Europa League with 12 league goals. He also scored the opening goal in Inter’s home match against Cagliari, and he will be eager to repeat himself in this match to show his former owners they made a mistake letting him go.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Inter)

Probably the last objective Inter have left to play for in these final two games is seeing Ibrahimovic beat Bologna’s Marco Di Vaio to the Capocannoniere title. The Italian is currently just one goal ahead of him, so it could be an interesting little race. It would certainly be a fitting cherry on the cake and a just reward for a great season, perhaps the Swede’s best ever for any club. There is little doubt that, with 22 goals scored for the league leaders, he has been Serie A’s most decisive player this season.

PREDICTION

With neither side terribly motivated or under pressure, the team with the most class is likely to come out on top.

Inter Celebrate Scudetto In Style By Thrashing Siena

The champions of Italy easily brushed past Siena, in front of a packed house at the San Siro stadium.

Pre-Match And Team News

Inter won their fourth successive Scudetto 24 hours prior to this match taking place, following AC Milan’s disappointing 2-1 defeat away to Udinese on Saturday evening. This particular match was set to mark this momentous occasion, however they would have to do without the injured pair Maicon and Nelson Rivas, whilst Julio Cruz was out through suspension.

Meanwhile, Siena had little to play for in this match, as their Serie A status was already assured, following their two wins in succession, against Napoli and Palermo respectively. Thankfully for their sake, they had a near full strength squad available for this clash against the champions.

First Half

The visitors got this celebratory occasion underway at the San Siro stadium, and it didn’t take them long to press forward with real purpose, especially through Calaio, who looked lively early on. He had the first chance of the night, as his thunderous drive from outside the area forced Julio Cesar into making an explosive save to put the ball out for a corner. Inter immediately responded through Ibrahimovic though, who attempted to cut the ball back to an unmarked Stankovic, however Curci was there to deny the Serbian a simple tap in.

The Bianconeri continued to play with real promise in the fashion capital, as they looked extremely menacing in the final third, despite the fact that they hadn’t put together any clear cut opportunities to this point. To their credit though, the champions were yet to have a single shot on goal of their own, in the opening 20 minutes of play.

The Nerazzurri did manage to have their first shot on goal on 22 minutes, albeit from an extremely difficult angle, as Ibrahimovic forced Curci into making his first save of the night. A decent build up play by Jose Mourinho’s men led to the ball ending up at the feet of the Swede, who easily skipped past two opponents, only to see his effort easily dealt with by the feet of the visiting keeper.

By the half hour mark the contest was turning into an extremely dull and lacklustre affair, as both sides lacked the creativity and the desire to breakthrough their opposing defence. The home fans were undoubtedly the most entertaining aspect of this encounter, as they had not stopped chanting and singing with the first half nearing an end.

The match continued to be played in a similar manner for the remainder of the period, however right on the stroke of half time, Esteban Cambiasso opened the scoring with a well struck left footed volley from inside the area. Balotelli’s ball into the penalty area from a dead ball situation was punched clear by Curci, however only as far as Stankovic, whose effort on goal forced the keeper into making yet another save. This time though the ball ended at the feet of the eventual goal scorer, who made no mistake from close range.

The referee’s whistle sounded just one minute later, as the re-crowned champions took a one goal advantage into the interval, following a fairly balanced opening period. The Bianconeri were desperately unlucky to be trailing at this point, however they still had a half of football to get themselves back into it.

Second Half

Inter resumed the proceedings in the second half, however prior to doing so, Marco Giampaolo made a double switch for the visitors by introducing Coppola and Jarolim, in place of Codrea and Kharja respectively. As a result, the Bianconeri’s formation changed, as the boss looked to test a 4-1-4-1 set-up, possibly for next season.

The change in shape seemed to confuse the Tuscan based outfit, as the Nerazzurri grabbed a second goal through Balotelli on 52 minutes. An impressive build up play saw Ibrahimovic flick the ball to Figo, who then played an outstanding ball forward to an unmarked Balotelli, and after beating the offside trap, the young Italian easily made his way around Curci to make it 2-0.

Siena had the chance to immediately respond through Calaio, as he managed to get on the end of a glorious ball into the area by Del Grosso, however his header was denied by the woodwork, and perhaps any chance that the visitors had of taking at least a point away from this match, ended with that failed attempt on goal.

Mourinho looked set to make his first change of the night, and despite 'Ibra' limping around on the pitch and asking to be replaced for a five minute period, the boss opted to leave him out there, perhaps as punishment for celebrating the Scudetto the night prior. Instead, Santon came on in place of Luis Figo, the man who announced his retirement earlier in the day, for the final 30 minutes of play.

As was the case in the opening half, the match took a severe dip in intensity at the midway point, resulting in the home side introducing the lively Mancini for the goal scorer Balotelli.
The change had an immediate effect, as the Brazilian played a glorious ball across the face of goal to Ibrahimovic, who smashed home Inter’s third goal of the night.

Inter made their third and final switch, as Orlandoni was brought on for Julio Cesar in goal. The Brazilian keeper left the field to a rousing reception, whilst Ibra continued to complain about being left out on the field to see out the final ten or so minutes of play. The substitute was immediately called into action, as he was forced to make a miraculous save to deny the Algerian international Ghezzal, who tested his luck from long range.

The final ten minutes was played out in a fairly lacklustre manner, as the Nerazzurri cruised to a 3-0 victory, confirming their title as the re-crowned champions of Italy. With two matches still to play, they have now extended their lead to ten points, proving their dominance over the competition this term.

Inter are only a victory away from the Scudetto, but they could even make do with a draw against Siena if Milan fail to win at Udinese the day before.

Inter Preparing For Celebrations

It would be a major surprise if Inter fail to win their 17th Scudetto this weekend against Siena. All they need to do is match Milan’s result in their game on Saturday night against Udinese, and the title is theirs. Despite their recent struggles, the lead they had built up over Milan and Juventus was so big that they could easily afford a number of slip-ups, most recently last week away to Chievo.

In that match, they confirmed their recent defensive problems and lack of concentration, as they twice gave away a one-goal lead. Until a couple of months ago, Inter had built up their big ponts advantage on top of the table primarily thanks to their ability to hold on to a lead. Of course, it could be that after opening up such a gap between themselves and their followers, the players started to lose focus somewhat.

In any event, overall Inter’s problems this season have been minor compared to Juve's and Milan’s, so even losing points in recent matches against Palermo, Napoli, and Chievo hasn’t been enough to put the Scudetto race seriously in doubt. Still, the apparent ease with which the Nerazzurri are about to win the title suggests not all is right in Italian football (something we all know is true). It also explains why they always seem to struggle in European matches; in Serie A they have lacked serious competition over the last few years.

Most probably next season Juventus and Milan will be more competitive, although that was also thought to be the case ahead of this season. There is a sense, however, that Inter will find it much harder to defend their title if their rivals do make big steps ahead next season, as this year Jose Mourinho’s side have not always looked as solid as they were under Roberto Mancini. Also, the club’s focus will likely be even more strongly on the Champions League, especially if Mourinho gets the players he feels Inter need to be competitive in Europe.

All of this suggests next year’s Scudetto race will not be as good as over well before the end of the season, as was the case this term - which is good news for Italian football, as a competitive title race will make all clubs involved in Europe psychologically stronger when they face big Champions League ties.

Siena Ready To Frustrate Inter Again??

After officially securing their stay in Serie A for another season last week, Siena can prepare for the match against Inter without serious worries. In fact, they were in a similar situation around this time last season, when they travelled to San Siro to face the Nerazzurri on the penultimate matchday of the league. The home side needed a win to make sure of the Scudetto, but Siena battled to a 2-2 draw, forcing Inter to postpone their celebrations.

Although they did end up winning the title in the match against Parma, Siena managed to give Roberto Mancini and his troops a mighty scare, and kept all Italian non-Inter fans’ hopes of another 5 May-like collapse alive until the final match.

Roma proved to be fiercely competitive until the bitter end, and in fact they were virtually champions for about an hour on that final matchday, before Ibrahimovic came on and decided the match at Parma with a brace. The same cannot quite be said about Milan, who lost the last glimmer of hope in last week’s home draw against Juventus.

The pressure on Inter for this match should not be as strong as it was in this same fixture last season, then, but Siena are a team they have often struggled against. Statistically this season has been their best ever in Serie A, and it’s no surprise coach Marco Giampaolo is now being linked with a move to a more prestigious club.

Earlier this season, the Bianconeri should have earned a draw in their home match against Inter, but only an incredible error by the linesman, who failed to see that Maicon was around a metre offside when he scored the winner, denied them a deserved point. Giampaolo’s men will undoubtedly draw courage from that particular match and they will fancy their chances of getting a result in this one, although it should be said their away form has been considerably inferior to their home results.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Inter)

After missing the match against Chievo due to suspension, Inter’s best player will be available again for this one, and he’ll want to be firing on all cylinders to be decisive again as he has so often been this season. The Swede is also competing for the Capocannoniere (top scorer) title in Serie A along with Marco Di Vaio, who is currently one goal ahead of him. If transfer rumours are to be believed, this could also be one of his last matches with the Nerazzurri. President Massimo Moratti has already assured the fans he will stay, but his repeated admissions that he is ready for a new challenge is a cause for concern.

Massimo Maccarone (Siena)

While he hasn’t quite managed to repeat his exploits of last season, when he scored 13 goals for Siena, once again Maccarone has been the team’s most prolific and reliable goalscorer, with eight to his name so far. The 29-year-old may not be a world-class striker, but his international experience has proven invaluable to Siena’s survival chances in the last few seasons.

Pre-Match News

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was suspended after picking up a yellow card last week, so Hernan Crespo was inserted in the line-up to partner starlet Mario Balotelli up front.

Coach Mimmo Di Carlo had to do without a number of key players, including Stephen Makinwa and the suspended Giampiero Pinzi. Despite disappointing this campaign, Erjon Bogdani was given a berth in attack.

First Half

The Serie A champions got off the mark with their first chance of the match. Dejan Stankovic was released down the left and his floated shot found Esteban Cambiasso. The Argentine's low shot was parried, but his compatriot, Crespo was on hand to pounce for just his second goal of the campaign.

The Nerazzurri had long spells of possession and Balotelli's burst of pace saw him get free of his marker down the right and play in a cross for Luis Figo, whose powerful effort was deflected onto the post on 13 minutes!

Chievo finally got a chance on goal when the ball was played square for Michele Marcolini, but his 20 yard effort was right at Julio Cesar. Bogdani then used his strength to shrug off Ivan Cordoba, but his finish was lacking.

It was a sign of things to come as Maxwell's weak clearance fell to Luca Rigoni, who poked the ball to Marcolini for an unstoppable drive into the net from outside the area after half an hour!

Jose Mourinho's men tried to hit back immediately, when captain Javier Zanetti beat his man and charged into the area, but after being tackled his penalty appeals were waved away.

The match opened up with some half-opportunities at either end, but neither side could break the deadlock before half-time.

Second Half

The visitors started the second half pressing for an equalizer and Maxwell's low cross was just nicked off of Crespo's foot.

Great interplay from Cambiasso and Crespo saw the ball shifted to Balotelli in a good
position, but his volley was twice blocked and Figo's powerful one-timer flew over the bar. The Nerazzurri's pressure was leaving the opportunity for the home side to counter and Bogdani found plenty of space, only to fire straight at the Brazilian number one.

Balotelli has only been involved sparingly, but scored an absolute stunner on 65 minutes. 'Super Mario' hammered the loose ball on the volley from the corner of the area into the top of the net!

Chievo earned a free-kick by the right corner flag and the well worked set-piece was lofted to Marcolini, but his shot was deflected into the arms of a scrambling Julio Cesar.

Again Inter conceded after taking the lead, former Nerazzurri winger Luciano side footed Mantovani's cross into the net with 15 minutes remaining.

The Verona-based side seemed content with the tie and began defending in numbers in order to hold on to the result as four minutes were added on for injury time.

There were no more chances and the tie means that Inter cannot be crowned champions this weekend regardless of the result between Juventus and Milan in the evening.

First Scudetto Match Ball For Inter

This weekend Jose Mourinho’s Inter have an outside chance of winning the 17th Scudetto in the club’s history, but they will need a bit of help from their bitterest rivals Juventus. If the troubled Bianconeri manage to beat an in-form Milan side at San Siro, and Inter win their away match against a Chievo side hungry for points, the title race will be officially settled.

Of course, it has been that way for some time, even though some dared to suggest that Milan might be capable of a miraculous comeback after Inter’s surprise defeat to Napoli. While theoretically it was certainly possible, last week’s hard-fought 2-0 victory against Lazio has surely silenced all the doubters. The way the Nerazzurri won was typical of their season, as they struggled to create danger up front until an individual piece of skill from Zlatan Ibrahimovic broke the deadlock, while their own defence was rarely troubled.

While Inter were struggling and Zlatan was misfiring, the fans started whistling the Swedish star, who was not at all pleased about that, and showed it both before and after his goal by pointing his finger to his mouth. One can see faults in both the player and the fans, who were also venting their frustration at Ibra’s admission that he is ready to move on after five years in Serie A, although they should be careful about jeering the player who is undoutedly their favourite team’s best performer.

Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic was right to get upset about the fans jeering him, but the way he reacted was certainly over the top, as he showed a blatant disrespect for his own fans. If one were to go by his behaviour in that match, a departure by the Swede at the end of the season would seem inevitable. Real Madrid are almost certain to make some kind of offer, and although president Massimo Moratti will obviously want to hold on to him at all costs, in the end if a player really wants to leave, there is not much the club can do to stop him nowadays.

Ibra will be unavailable for this match after getting himself booked last week, so it will be interesting to see how Inter will cope without him. Last week Chievo coach Domenico Di Carlo revealed that his players strongly fancied getting a result against Inter knowing that Ibrahimovic would be unavailable, which indicates how feared he is, but also that other teams know just how important he is to Inter’s play.

Chievo Not Out Of Relegation Battle Just Yet

Following their recent 2-0 away win against Siena, it looked like Chievo were only a step away from securing their Serie A survival. However, in the two subsequent games things have changed a bit, as the bottom clubs have started winning, while Chievo unluckily lost a crucial home match 2-1 against Udinese to a last-minute goal.

Domenico Di Carlo’s team did bounce back last week with a creditable 0-0 draw away to a struggling Roma side. In their last four games they have a pretty tough schedule, as after the match against Inter they will face fifth-placed Genoa away from home, fellow relegation battlers Bologna, and Napoli. With a six-point margin over the relegation zone, you would certainly fancy them to make it, but it’s been an up-and-down season for the Gialloblu, so it’s hard to say what might happen next.

They started poorly under coach Giuseppe Iachini, who brought the club back to Serie A after just one season down in Serie B, but he was unable to keep the team away from the bottom of the table in his first few months, and was replaced by Di Carlo in early November. Slowly but surely he managed to get the team into a safer position, and unless they suffer a seriously bad run of results in these last four games, that will likely be enough to keep them in Serie A.

Against Inter they have frequently managed to get the odd surprise result, and earlier this season they came close to causing a big shock in their match at San Siro. Inter went 2-0 up early in the second half, but Chievo managed to tie the game at 2-2, and only two late goals by Zlatan Ibrahimovic allowed the home side to win. In their six home games against the Nerazzurri since their first promotion to Serie A in 2001, they have lost just three times, drawing twice and winning once.

Sergio Pellissier (Chievo)

Once again the 30-year-old striker looks set to become Chievo’s top scorer, with 12 Serie A goals to his name so far. Recently he managed to score a hat-trick in the away match against Juventus, helping his side to a 3-3 draw, in what was probably one of his best matches ever. He’s currently in his seventh consecutive season with Chievo, although at this stage of his career, it’s probably unlikely he can still aim for a move to a more ambitious club.

Mario Balotelli (Inter)

After a difficult start to the season, in which coach Jose Mourinho kept him out of the team due to a poor attitude during training, lately SuperMario has become a key player for Inter again. Since scoring a crucial goal against Bologna in February, his first of the season, he has banged in six goals, including a brace in a key home game against Roma. Just like last season, he has proven decisive for Inter’s final Scudetto push.

PREDICTION

Although Chievo are always a tough nut to crack for Inter, they should be able to get all three points in this one and take another step towards the Scudetto.

The conspiracy against the chairman KPK Antasari Azhar??

In a bizarre twist, Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Chief Antasari Azhar has been named a suspect in a murder case by the Attorney General's Office (AGO) as rumors surrounding the crime continue to circulate.

Instead of the police making the call, it was the AGO that named Antasari a suspect in connection with the murder of state enterprise director Nasrudin Zulkarnaen in March.

Director of social and political affairs at the AGO's Intelligence division, Abas Azhari, said police had requested the AGO slap a travel ban on Antasari.

"The travel ban is valid from today and will last for one year," he told a media conference.

AGO spokesperson Jasman Pandjaitan later said Antasari might be charged with conspiring to murder, though he refused to explain the exact motive behind the killing.

Jasman further said Attorney General Hendarman Supandji, who was not present at the press conference, regretted Antasari's alleged involvement in the murder.

"He *Hendarman* deeply regrets that a former state prosecutor may be involved in a conspiracy to murder," said Jasman.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono expressed his support for an investigation into the murder case.

Presidential spokesperson Andi Mallarangeng said Friday the president deemed this investigation an example of strict law enforcement.
"Anyone guilty must undergo processes regulated by the law until he or she faces trial," Andi said at the Bogor Presidential Palace.

KPK deputy chairman Bibit Samad Riyanto said in the absence of Antasari, who may face questioning on Monday, the four KPK deputy chiefs would take turns leading the antigraft commission.

According to KPK law, the head of state can suspend the KPK chief if he or she is named a criminal suspect.

Antasari played a key role in the crackdown on corruption within the AGO, which has cost the prosecutors corps the trust of the public.

The KPK's ruthless fight against corruption was evident when it declared former Bank Indonesia deputy governor Aulia Pohan, the father-in-law of the president's eldest son, a suspect in an embezzlement scandal.

Before his stint at the KPK, Antasari was the Director of Prosecution of General Crimes at the Junior Attorney General's Office for Special Crimes.

Nasrudin, the director of state firm PT Putra Rajawali Banjaran, died on March 14 from gunshot wounds he sustained in a drive-by shooting that took place as he left the Modernland Golf Course in Tangerang.

The motive of the murder remained a mystery for more than a month until National Police Chief Gen. Bambang Hendarso Danuri announced the police had arrested nine suspects late Wednesday.

The announcement spawned many unconfirmed rumors, including that the mastermind paid Rp 500 million (US$47,500) to the hitman and his associates, that the shooter may have trained as a soldier in the East Timor conflict, that one of the nine suspects is a former district police chief and that Sigid Haryo Wibisono, a golfing buddy of Antasari and Nasrudin, was one of the detained suspects.

Earlier Friday, police said they had apprehended seven suspects and were hunting two more, and did not deny one may be a public official.

The champions started the game well and had a couple of chances in the opening minutes. Following a corner kick for the home side in the first minute, Esteban Cambiasso found Mancini unmarked in the area, but from a difficult position he could not get a shot on target.

The next minute, Figo made a good run on the right and sent in a dangerous cross that was missed by goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, but no Inter player was on hand to take advantage.

In the 7th minute, Lazio responded as Rocchi and Zarate played a nice one-two that gave the Italian a chance to shoot in front of Julio Cesar, who came up with an alert save.

Inter struggled to take control of the match overall, as they often resorted to long balls, but they came close in the 22nd minute, when Ibrahimovic headed the ball inches wide on a cross by Figo.

Four minutes later, Lazio defender Aleksandar Kolarov fired a powerful shot from distance that went just wide, although Julio Cesar had the angle covered.

On the half hour mark, Sulley Muntari missed a good chance for Inter on a counterattack, as he played the ball forward to Ibrahimovic, who in turn crossed it back into the area for the Ghanaian, who headed the ball wide from a very good position.

Toward the end of the first half, the home side started to struggle and Julio Cesar had to come in action on more than one occasion. In the 36th minute, Zarate fired a mean shot from the edge of the area which was parried away for a corner by the Brazilian keeper.

The first half finished on a goalless draw that reflected an uneventful first half with few chances for both teams.

Second Half

The teams came back on the pitch unchanged from the first half. Lazio continued to look more comfortable at the start, and in th 48th minute Zarate tried to make a run into the area, but forgot about the ball and lost it to Samuel.

Out of nothing, though, it was Inter who took the lead ten minutes later, as Ibrahimovic responded to some sections of the crowd who had started to jeer him by taking a shot from the edge of the area, after dribbling past David Rozenhal, and beat Muslera with a precise effort toward the corner of the net.

The Nerazzurri looked more comfortable after that, and seemed in control of the proceedings while Lazio looked tired. However, in the 68th minute there was a chance for the visitors, as Rocchi tried to volley in a long ball by Pasquale Foggia, but sent it wide.

Two minutes later Inter doubled their lead, once again thanks to some great play by Ibrahimovic, who played a great pass into the area while under pressure from Lazio’s defence, and found Muntari, who made it 2-0 with a low shot.

In the final part of the match, the home side comfortably controlled the match, and did not feel like pushing forward for a third goal. Ibrahimovic continued to look nervous though, and in the 85th minute he got himself booked after a tussle with Matuzalem, which means he will miss the next match against Chievo.

In the final minutes there were a number of yellow cards for both sides, but in the end Inter won’t care too much as they secured a crucial victory that brings them 10 points clear of Milan ahead of their match against Catania tomorrow, virtually ending the Scudetto race.

Inter Starting To Feel Slight Pressure?

After last weekend’s unexpected defeat to Napoli, who won their first match in over three months, Inter saw their new closest challengers Milan move to within seven points of them, a much smaller distance than what they had become used to in recent weeks. However, considering the Serie A calendar of the last five matches of the season, there is no reason to believe the Rossoneri have a practical chance of snatching the Scudetto away from Jose Mourinho’s side.

Milan are facing Roma, Juventus, Udinese and Fiorentina in the final run-in, while Inter play the likes of Chievo, Siena, and Atalanta, who don’t have serious objectives to fight for any more (although the Gialloblu aren’t quite sure of avoiding relegation yet). But aside from that, the Nerazzurri haven’t been doing as badly as some people claimed, with the exception of last week’s match against Napoli, in which they looked like they just wanted to bring home a scoreless draw, and were subsequently unable to change their attitude after Marcelo Zalayeta’s late goal.

They looked good in the recent league matches against Palermo and Juventus, which they would have deserved to win, but gave away a lead twice due to over-confidence and a lack of concentration. With a bit more luck they could also have turned around the recent Coppa Italia semi-final tie against Sampdoria, in which they had to come back from a 3-0 deficit from the first leg, and won 1-0 after missing a number of good chances.

With the Rossoneri now slightly closer to them, they will probably be able to rediscover the right concentration and determination in the home match against Lazio, which on paper is probably the most difficult fixture awaiting them in this final part of the season. Milan have an easier match away to a Catania side who have already secured their Serie A survival, so the Nerazzurri know they need a win in this one to avoid experiencing another nervy finale like last season.

Lazio Looking To Frustrate Inter

Lazio have traditionally always been a bogey team for Inter, with the most famous instance of this being the match on 5 May 2002, when the Nerazzurri lost 4-2 away to the Biancocelesti on the final matchday of the season, gifting Juventus a Scudetto that seemed already in the bag. However, in recent years Inter have had fewer problems with Lazio, who have managed just one draw in their last five matches against the champions.

Earlier this season Lazio met Jose Mourinho’s side when they were at their best, and the Biancocelesti were beaten 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico. For Delio Rossi’s squad it’s been another inconsistent season, which has been somewhat compensated by their reaching the Coppa Italia final against Sampdoria, due to take place in their own stadium. That final also represents probably their best chance of playing European football next season, as the Coppa Italia winner will take part in the Europa League, the new incarnation of the UEFA Cup.

In the table they are ninth with 47 points, five fewer than city rivals Roma, who are currently in sixth place, which is the lowest position in the Serie A table that guarantees European football. Lazio are not a worse team than some of the clubs preceding them in the table at the moment, but they have been unable to maintain a consistent level of performance.

Recently they managed to get three prestigious consecutive victories against Roma, Genoa, and Juventus in the Coppa Italia, but then went on to play a dismal match at home against Atalanta last weekend and lost 1-0. That alone goes to show how unpredictable they are, although Inter would probably do well to expect the Lazio side that beat Juventus and Roma rather than the one seen last week against Atalanta.

Julio Cruz (Inter)

With Balotelli out suspended, this could be one of Cruz’s last starts as an Inter player. The 34-year-old striker is set to leave the club this summer after six years of faithful service, during which he has often proven decisive, scoring a respectable 49 league goals. He will be hoping to find a suitable way to end his stint at the Nerazzurri, after a season in which he has rarely had the chance to show his worth. Nevertheless, his only two goals this season won the games against Lecce and Udinese, showing once again that he has decisive goals in his DNA, which is why he is such a popular player among fans.

Mauro Zarate (Lazio)

The Argentinean starlet made an explosive impact on Serie A in his first season at Lazio, scoring an impressive 12 goals and showing immense talent and skill. Zarate quickly managed to work his way into Lazio’s first choice eleven, disrupting a previously highly prolific attack partnership composed of Tommaso Rocchi, who has spent much of the season on the bench as a result, and Goran Pandev. Recently he also signed a five-year contract with the Biancocelesti, as he had only joined them on loan from Qatar club Al Sadd.

PREDICTION

Inter should be able to get back to winning ways, after three matches, against a less motivated Lazio side.

Heading into this match, Napoli were winless since January 11, when they overcame Catania 1-0 at home. As a result, the side were obviously lacking in confidence and therefore weren’t expected to attain any points against the soon to be crowned champions Inter. With just six matches remaining in the season, victory in this clash would ensure that the Nerazzurri maintained their ten point buffer over their rivals Milan, and one step closer to a fourth consecutive Scudetto.

The Partenopei were without several key players through injury, including Walter Gargano, Christian Maggio, Gennaro Iezzo, Leandro Rinaudo and Luigi Vitale, whilst to make matters worse, their captain Paolo Cannavaro was suspended for this clash. Meanwhile, due to the impressive depth of the Inter squad, Jose Mourinho was able to employ an extremely strong starting XI, with Mario Balotelli partnering Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front.

First Half

Inter got the play underway at the San Paolo stadium, and it didn’t take them long to impose themselves in the match, as Samuel went mighty close to scoring the opener with a fierce header from close range after just two minutes of play. A free kick sent in to the area by Balotelli was met by the head of Samuel; however a wonderful stop by Navarro prevented the champions from taking an early advantage.

It was all Inter in the early stages, however to Napoli’s credit they managed to respond well, as they went close to opening the scoring themselves on nine minutes, when a Lavezzi effort from inside the area was impressively blocked by a lunging Chivu. As the sides began to settle though, the opportunities started to dry up, as a fierce drive from long range by Balotelli was the closest either side came over the next ten minutes.

As the time ticked by, both sides continued to threaten when in attack, however neither could create any clear cut opportunities that threatened to break the scoreless deadlock. Balotelli and Lavezzi were causing havoc up front for their respective sides, whilst the Nerazzurri were unable to capitalise on their high amount of possession after half an hour of play.

The home side had three chances to score over the next five minutes, with all of them falling to their Argentinean superstar Lavezzi. The man who has been lacking in confidence in recent times, failed to hit the target on all three occasions, as he squandered a long range effort and two free kicks, with one of those taken just inches outside the area. To this point, the Azzurri were yet to test Julio Cesar in goal.

Neither side would be able to create anything over the remaining ten minutes of play in the first half, as the referee brought the opening period to an end. Following an entertaining opening 10 minute period to open the contest, both sides struggled to show any conviction up front from there on, something that was proven by the scoreless outcome, as the players headed for the dressing rooms.

Second Half

Napoli resumed proceedings in the second half, knowing that if they failed to score in the next 45 minutes of play, it would mean that in seven of their past nine matches of football they would have ended without a goal to their name. With this in mind, it was evident that Donadoni had instructed his players to press forward with more promise and more frequently, however having said this, it didn’t take long for the league leaders to retake control of the match.

The Partenopei continued to get forward often, and impressively they were the better side in the opening 15 minutes of the second half. As was the case in the first half though, they failed to get a shot on target, in fact they failed to get a shot away at all throughout this period. Their best opportunity came on 57 minutes when Denis found himself in possession of the ball deep inside the area, only to see his eventual effort well blocked by Cordoba.

Donadoni made the first switch of the night on 63 minutes, as Zalayeta, the man who scored the winner against Inter in the corresponding fixture last season, was brought on in place of Denis in attack. The substitute was immediately called into action, however yet again, the likes of Chivu, Samuel, Cordoba and Zanetti at the back proved too strong for the Azzurri attackers.

Ibra went close to opening the scoring on 68 minutes, with a thunderous free kick from all of 35 yards. The effort forced Navarro to dive to his right, to prevent the ball from sailing in to the bottom corner. Following yet another missed opportunity, Mourinho made his first change of the night, with Mancini being introduced in the place of a tiring Figo.

Incredibly on 73 minutes, Zalayeta opened the scoring with an exceptional strike from the edge of the area, following a wonderful build up play by Lavezzi. The Argentinean made his way forward, whilst drawing a number of defenders in the process, and his quick thinking to play it to Zalayeta, allowed the substitute to put in one of the goals of the season.

Mourinho responded to the goal immediately, by bringing on Cruz for Vieira, meaning that the Nerazzurri would play with a 4-3-3 set-up for the remaining 15 minutes of play. Despite the attacking change though, the home side were understandably full of confidence following the Zalayeta goal, and remained in control of the match as the 80 minute mark approached.

The Azzurri almost doubled their lead through Blasi on 86 minutes, with a powerful effort from 20 yards, which forced Julio Cesar in to making a wonderful save. Astonishingly it was the first save that the Brazilian keeper made all night, as the match drew to a close.

Following a four minute period of stoppage time, the referee’s whistle brought the match to an end, confirming the fact that Donadoni had finally recorded a victory as coach of Napoli. The result means that Inter’s lead has now been cut to seven points over their nearest rivals Milan, whilst their dismal record at the San Paolo continues, as they have failed to emerge victorious in Naples since way back in 1997.

Sampdoria Make Coppa Italia Final Despite Inter Victory

Inter won 1-0 on the night thanks to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but Sampdoria will meet Lazio in the final of the Coppa Italia after a 3-1 aggregate victory.

Inter had a mountain to climb if they were to make it through to next month's final, having been thrashed 3-0 in the first leg in Genoa. Nevertheless, Jose Mourinho still believed in his side's chances and fielded a very strong team. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mario Balotelli and Julio Cruz launched the attack, while Marco Materazzi returned in defence.

Sampdoria were hoping to finish off the job, and Walter Mazzarri was taking no chances with his team selection. Star duo Antonio Cassano and Giampaolo Pazzini were hoping to shine again, having scored all the goals in the first leg.

First Half

Inter had the first effort of the game as Ibrahimovic tested Luca Castellazzi with a long-range free kick.

But it was Samp who had the first glorious chance of the game. Cassano glided past his man and slipped through a delightful through pass to Paolo Sammarco, who had just Julio Cesar to beat, but the Brazilian saved with his foot and the rebound off Materazzi finished inches wide.

The star of the show in the early stages was Cassano, who was leading Ivan Cordoba a merrydance with his tricks. A nutmeg on Patrick Vieira led to roars from the crowd.

On 25 minutes, Pazzini went very close to scoring, as he soared above Cordoba to head just wide from Mirko Pieri's cross.

A minute later though, Inter were ahead through Ibrahimovic. The Swede volleyed home a brilliant shot from the edge of the area following a long Julio Cesar punt forward.

It was almost 2-0 seconds later, as Castellazzi was forced into a brilliant fingertip save from Ibrahimovic's header.

It was the Ibra-show, and the ex-Juventus star almost scored a contender for goal of the season on 36 minutes as he impudently lobbed the ball over Castellazzi from the angle of the area, only to see the woodwork come to Sampdoria's rescue.

Seconds before the break, Inter again went desperately close, as Ibrahimovic chipped the ball up for Cruz, who headed centimetres past the near post.

Second Half

Inter continued to push forward in the second half, and Ibrahimovic smashed a long-range volley over the bar.

There were two penalty appeals on 51 minutes, as first Cassano and then Pazzini went down in the area, but the referee turned away.

Jose Mourinho used up all three of his substitutes, and one of the entrants almost made an immediate impact, as Hernan Crespo flashed a first-time volley just wide on the hour mark.

A few minutes later, Cassano slalomed past three Inter players, but with just Julio Cesar to beat, he was denied. It would have been a magnificent goal from 'Talentino'.

Sampdoria were settled now, and almost got the key away goal with 15 minutes remaining, as Maxwell cleared off the line from Hugo Campagnaro after Julio Cesar had flapped at a corner.

Time was now running out for Inter, but Ibrahimovic almost set-up a grandstand finish with five minutes left as he flashed a shot just over the bar. The Swede's cross then crashed off the crossbar, and Castellazzi dived on Burdisso's rebound.

Marco Materazzi received his marching orders in injury time for a second yellow card, but it mattered little.

Inter won 1-0 on the night, but it wasn't enough as Sampdoria progress to the final 3-1 on aggregate. Lazio await after they defeated Juventus in the other semi-final.

An official said most of the people that died had drowned in the flash flood, and the victim was expected to rise as many people were sleeping when the disaster happened and were unable to escape.

"Hundreds of homes are flooded, tens of houses badly damaged, it was like a "Mini tsunami" Rustam Pakaya, an official at the health ministry, said.

Local official, Danang Susanto, said the dam burst at 2am local time (1900 Thursday GMT).

"But before that there was heavy rain and wind, many trees were uprooted. People were still sleeping and couldn't do anything," said Susanto.

Rescuers at the moment waded through chest-deep water and used rubber rafts in search for survivors who may be trapped in their houses. A dozen people remain missing, while up to 20 people were reported to have been treated at nearby hospitals

In some places water levels reached roof tops and bodies were seen floating alongside chairs, clothing and other debris amid the murky brown water in the flooded neighbourhood. Telephone lines were toppled and some cars were swept hundreds of feet away.

Some residents living near the dam, which was used to retain water in Lake Situ Gintung in Tangerang District, southwest of Jakarta, were reported to have heard sirens before the water hit.

"It was just like a mini tsunami," said Minu, the oldest daughter of Seto Mulyadi, the head of the national commission for children's protection.

Her father said the water smashed all the windows and doors of the family home while his wife and four children were sleeping upstairs. They were woken by the sounds of a commotion outside and screaming people.

Minu said: "They were shouting: ‘the water's coming in, the water's coming in’, and our dogs were barking. I could hear a banging on the door, and I thought, who's there? But it turned out to be the water."

Mr Mulyadi said the flash flood destroyed his house: “My house is a dreadful mess ... Thank God my family is safe.”

Health Ministry Crisis Centre chief Rustam Pakaya said the decades-old dam completely destroyed some houses and inundated at least 400 others.

The 32-foot-high dam was holding back around 70 million cubic feet of water at the Pesanggrahan river. It was built up to a century ago, while Indonesia was still under Dutch colonial rule.

Authorities are still trying to determine the cause of the accident, although it is believed heavy rains caused the dam to first overflow and then, because the foundation was not made of concrete, to burst.

Pre-Match News

Inter coach Jose Mourinho had to deal with a defensive crisis with so many of his centre backs out through injury and suspension. Thus, Esteban Cambiasso partnered Nelson Rivas in defense. Meanwhile, Mancini was given a chance to impress as the Portuguese tactician enabled an experimental 4-2-3-1 formation.

Meanwhile, Reggina boss Nevio Orlandi was forced to do without star striker Bernardo Corradi, so Francesco Cozza and Franco Brienza were pushed further forward in attack.

First Half

Brienza had a shot from long rage early on, but it was the league-leaders, who scored with their first real chance. Mario Balotelli played the ball back into the box after a corner was cleared and Dejan Stankovic performed a clever back-heel through to Cambiasso, who opened the Nerazzurri account with a cheeky finish.

It looked like it was going to be a long night for the basement dwellers. Mancini's step-overs fooled his marker, who brought him down in the area. Although, Mancini went down rather easily, his man was truly beaten and there was contact. Ibrahimovic dispatched the spot-kick with ease to give Inter a two-goal lead after 10 minutes.

Inter had all the attacking play and were nearly three to the good, Balotelli stole the ball from Andrea Costa and cut back for Ibrahimovic, but he scuffed his shot from point-blank range. However, that did not deter the Benemata! Davide Santon sold his marker by faking the shot and laid off for the 'Super Swede,' whose low shot slammed the post from outside the area.

The Nerazzurri were content to be far more patient, beating Reggina to every ball and spraying passes around looking for opportunities.

Reggina tried to cut the deficit after some fancy footwork from Cozza that saw him dribble past two defenders, he curled the ball just wide from the corner of the box.

Mancini had to come off after suffering a hamstring injury and was replaced by Victor Obinna on the left wing on 40 minutes. Soon after, Antonino Barilla had a great chance after being set up by Cozza, but his shot was straight at Julio Cesar in a one-on-one situation.

The half-time whistle blew with Inter in a commanding position after a positive display of football.

Second Half

Neither coach made any more changes to begin the second half as the Amaranto now had a mountain to climb if they wanted to get back into the match.

'Ibracadabra' lived up to his name by producing the third with a piece of magic. He used his strength to avoid three players and then chipped Puggioni in the Reggina net with an effort from the edge of the box to truly close out the contest. It was his 19th goal of the Serie A campaign.

Adejo's acrobatic effort had plenty of power, but not the precision to beat the Inter shot stopper. Julio Cesar was again decisive when he got down to parry Barreto's low shot.

Both coaches made some changes as they seemed resigned to their respective results. Luis Jimenez received a run out, while Alessio Sestu and Fabio Ceravolo were thrown on in hope that the visitors could grab at least one goal. However, Jimenez was removed after just ten minutes, giving Maxwell his 100th appearance in Nerazzurri colours!

Sulley Muntari, who had been impressive all afternoon, nearly made it four, but he turned Balotelli's rebound over the bar.

The referee added no injury time to end Reggina's misery and Inter were deserved winners to maintain their seven point lead over Juventus.

It's first against last on Sunday afternoon as leaders Inter host rock-bottom Reggina in hopes of stretching their lead over second-placed Juventus, who travel to face Roma this weekend.

Inter Getting Ready For Final Stretch

With ten matches to go before the end of the Serie A season, Inter are in complete control of things and seem to be cruising toward their third consecutive Scudetto on the pitch. José Mourinho’s arrival may not have brought the expected improvements on the European stage, but Inter remain by far the strongest team in Italy, and winning the title this year would allow them to tie the scores with city rivals Milan, who have won 17 Scudettos to Inter’s 16.

Last week the team responded well to their elimination from the Champions League by beating fourth-placed Fiorentina 2-0 at San Siro thanks to a brace by (who else?) Zlatan Ibrahimovic, whose Serie A form this season has been dynamite. Inter may depend too heavily on the Swedish star, and their football may be mostly unimpressive - indeed, it has proved insufficient to triumph in Europe - but the fact remains that in the last two rounds the Nerazzurri have beaten two of the league’s highest-ranked teams. Two weeks ago, in fact, they inflicted the first home defeat of the season on Genoa, in a match they never looked like losing.

The relative ease with which they won these tough matches shows how dominant Inter are in Serie A, but sadly for Italian football it also says something about the quality of the league. Although they missed a number of chances in the second leg, Mourinho’s side were definitely second best to Manchester United over the two matches, and it seems clear that they still lack something both in their mental approach to do-or-die clashes, as well as a bit of creativity in the middle of the park and a creative player to link the midfield and attack.

However, in Italy Inter’s combination of a steely midfield and defence, and the individual qualities of the likes of Ibrahimovic and Maicon, is continuing to prove more than enough for success. With ten matches to go they hold a seven-point lead over second-placed Juventus, which is not quite enough yet to consider the title won. Last season at this point they had a six-point lead over Roma, but still had to wait until the final matchday to capture the Scudetto.

Mourinho will want to avoid that happening this time around, and so will the fans and the players. Inter have shown much more strength and consistency than any other team in Serie A, and their injury crisis has not been as bad as last season, when they were missing Ibrahimovic for the decisive final stretch, so they should be able to wrap up the Scudetto without too much suffering.

With Juventus travelling to Rome for an always tough fixture against Roma this weekend, the match against Reggina could represent a great opportunity to stretch their lead on top of the table to nine points again.

First Against Last

It will be a true David vs. Goliath match as the league leaders take on rock-bottom Reggina on their home turf. This is typically the type of match where only one team has anything to lose, and of course in this case it’s Inter. Although the Amaranto are still harboring hopes of staying in Serie A, their situation seems pretty desperate by now and they certainly won’t fancy their chances of escaping San Siro unbeaten.

Many times in the past Reggina have been able to secure their stay in Serie A in near-miraculous circumstances, completing comebacks from seemingly hopeless situations. However, this time it seems all hope is lost. Currently they are six points removed from the safety zone, so only an unlikely winning streak would allow them to escape the drop.

Coach Nevio Orlandi has done what he could with a modest squad, and lately the team have been battling bravely, as they’ve lost just one of their last five matches. He made a terrible start to the season, and was replaced in December by Giuseppe Pillon, who did even worse, and in January Orlandi was called back to the Reggina bench.

The team’s main problem seems to be a lack of firepower in attack, with only Bernardo Corradi having managed to score with some regularity. Reggina have the worst attack in Serie A and the third worst defence. Those are the kind of statistics
that spell doom for a team.

Their past encounters against Inter at San Siro also don’t give much reason for optimism. In eight meetings with the Nerazzurri they have lost five, and never won, conceding 16 goals and scoring just two. However, they did obtain one of the most notable results of their season against Inter’s city rivals Milan in the same stadium, drawing 1-1 on 7 February. Milan youth product Davide Di Gennaro opened the score for Reggina with a well-taken goal in the 34th minute, but a Kaká penalty allowed the Rossoneri to equalise in the 67th minute.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Inter)

There are rumours the ambitious Swede wants to leave Inter to have a better chance of winning the Champions League, which in a way is understandable because he is getting used to winning league titles every season. The last time he wasn’t part of a league-winning squad was in 2003, as in 2004 he won the Eredivisie title with Ajax, in 2005 and 2006 he won the Serie A title with Juventus (although those two titles were later revoked), and of course in 2007 and 2008 he led Inter to the Scudetto. In Serie A his form has been highly impressive this season, and he has already equalled his goalscoring record of last season of 17 goals; and with just two goals fewer than top scorer Marco Di Vaio, he is also competing for the Capocannoniere title.

Francesco Cozza (Reggina)

With Corradi unlikely to make it for this match, Reggina will rely heavily on their captain’s creativity to trouble Inter. The 35-year-old is a true Reggina veteran, having spent nine season in Calabria, including four years in Serie B. In this final stage of the season, which is unlikely to end well for the Amaranto, he will surely be the last to give up the fight.

PREDICTION

Time for Inter to get a convincing home victory again. This season they have failed to win any of their home matches by more than two goals, although they twice won 3-0 away from home (against Lecce and Lazio) and also beat Roma 4-0 in Rome.

Pre-Match And Team News
Heading into this contest, Inter’s lead at the top of the Serie A standings was just four points, which came as a result of Juventus’ comprehensive 4-1 triumph over Bologna a day prior. Meanwhile, Fiorentina found themselves in fifth position, two points adrift of Genoa, a club that registered a 1-0 victory over Cagliari earlier in the round.

Fresh from their elimination from the Champions League, the Nerazzurri were determined to perform well in this fixture, however they would have to do it without several key defenders yet again, as the coach Jose Mourinho was without the likes of Ivan Cordoba, Marco Materazzi and Nicola Burdisso.

The Viola boss Cesare Prandelli was without his captain Dario Dainelli, who missed out through suspension, however with exception of the defender and the injured Mario Santana, he had a full strength squad available for this encounter.

First Half

Fiorentina got the play underway at the San Siro, and they managed to dominate the possession and the play early on, as they created several promising attacking thrusts in the opening five or so minutes. Despite playing in front of their own fans, Inter opted to play in their white and red away strip, to mark the end of their centenary celebrations for the final time.

The first effort of the contest came on 10 minutes to the visitors, and what a massive chance it was for the Viola to break the deadlock. Gilardino was wonderfully played through by Gamberini, and after making his way forward he decided to unselfishly cut the ball across the face of goal to his strike partner Mutu, only to see the Romanian fail to open the scoring, despite being one on one with Julio Cesar.

Incredibly, immediately following Mutu’s failure to beat the Inter keeper, Ibrahimovic opened the scoring, as he headed home from close range after 11 minutes of play. A dangerous ball into the area by Balotelli, was met by the head of Ibra, who at first saw his effort saved by Frey, however he made no mistake with his second effort, as he put the ball in to an unguarded net to make it 1-0.

Prandelli’s men kept at it, despite conceding an early goal, as they had a number of opportunities in the next ten minutes without fortune. Gilardino and Mutu continued to trouble the Inter back four, however the Nerazzurri held firm in defence, to ensure that the score remained 1-0 at the half hour mark. They did manage to put together a great attacking play of their own in this period, one that was almost finished off wonderfully by Stankovic, who beat Frey and unfortunately for his sake the post as well, after 27 minutes of play.

Balotelli picked up the first booking of the night, following a tough challenge in the middle of the park on Jorgensen, and that moment in play was arguably the highlight of the 10 minute period that followed the Stankovic effort. Maicon continued his dominant form on the right, whilst Santon excelled on the left, making life extremely difficult as the minutes went by for their Tuscan based opponents.

In spite of Maicon’s control on the right, his opponent Vargas, who was playing on the left for Fiorentina, certainly was holding his own in that position, and it was his glorious ball in towards Gilardino that almost led to a brilliant goal scored by the former Milan man, as he made a spontaneous decision to flick the Vargas cross from the edge of the area, only to see it well saved by Julio Cesar yet again.

Both sides pressed as the half neared an end, however with no stoppage time added in the first 45 minutes, the referee’s whistle brought the play to an end, with the home side holding on to a one goal advantage at the break.

Second Half

The home side resumed proceedings however prior to that Mourinho made the first change of the night, as Figo came on for Chivu, meaning that Cambiasso dropped to the centre of defence to play alongside his fellow countryman Samuel at the back.

Neither side managed to gain a foothold in the opening minutes of the half, however it was the visitors that put together the first opportunity through Montolivo on 52 minutes. His powerful drive from outside the area was well dealt with by Julio Cesar, who was Inter’s savior once again.

The Viola continued to press, as Inter’s one goal advantage was looking less and less secure as the minutes went by. Incredibly on 62 minutes, Mutu squandered another glorious opportunity for the visitors, as he opted to test his luck from close range, despite having two unmarked team-mates in the centre of goal. The look of dismay on Gilardino’s face had to be seen to be believed, as his generally reliable attacking partner wasted a glorious opportunity for the Champions League hopefuls.

Prandelli finally made a change in personnel for the visitors on 75 minutes, when Jovetic replaced Kuzmanovic, a substitution that led to an alteration in the Viola formation, as they were now playing with three men up front. The switch almost had an immediate impact on proceedings, as the substitute found himself clean through on goal, only for the Inter keeper to come to the rescue and punch it clear for a corner. Donadel was brought on moments later, with Jorgensen making way for him.

Time was running out for the Viola to grab that vital equaliser, as the Nerazzurri looked set to register their seventh consecutive home victory against their Tuscan based opponents. The game looked set to be finally put out of reach on 90 minutes, when Santon was played through one on one with Frey, only to see his left footed effort expertly saved by the keeper, who did well to prevent the young Italian from scoring his first goal in the Italian topflight.

Five minutes was the amount of stoppage time indicated by the fourth official, and it was a period of time that was completely dominated by the Nerazzurri. Ibrahimovic incredibly made it 2-0 in the final minute of play, with a stunning free kick that gave Frey no chance whatsoever. His 109 km/h effort from all of 30 yards was too good for the keeper, as it sensationally struck the crossbar and sailed into the back of the net.

That’s how it ended for Inter, as a brace to Ibrahimovic was enough for the home side to restore their seven point buffer atop of the Serie A standings, whilst Fiorentina remain in fifth place, two points adrift of Genoa, in the race for the fourth and final Champions League qualifying position.

Indonesia Third Top WordPress User

Bahasa Indonesia is the third most used language by Wordpress users.

Indonesia is listed as the third world's top user of blog provider Wordpress. "WordPress users in Indonesia tops both German and French users," said WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg during a press conference of 2009 Wordcamp Indonesia on Saturday, Jan 17.

According to Mullenweg, last year, around 117 million visits to WordPress were made from Indonesia.

Indonesians accessing Wordpress.com reached 6.3 percent, above Germany (5.1 percent) and Brazil (4.7 percent). Indonesia is only behind the United States (24.7 percent) and India (7.1 percent).

Meanwhile, Bahasa Indonesia is the third most used language by WordPress users. According to Mullenweg, around 300,000 blogs use Bahasa Indonesia.

According to WordPress, WordPress users using Bahasa Indonesia reached five percent, while 66 percent are English-speaking WordPress users and eight percent Spanish-speaking.

Indonesia is the second fastest country when it comes to user development, outpacing Spain, Germany and France. "Around 143,000 new blogs are registered [in Indonesia] in the last six months," said Mullenweg.

Given the facts, Mullenweg becomes curious about Indonesia. He was previously uninformed of the country. In fact, he did not even realize the exact location of Indonesia.

According to Mullenweg, freedom is the advantage that WordPress offers.

As for web developers, any users can freely develop the open-source application. Up until today, 3,800 plugins from WordPress communities are available.

Meanwhile, from users' point of view, said Mullenweg, WordPress allows users to access the programs and distribute contents in WordPress for free.

A senior blogger Kuncoro Wastuwibowo said that due to its open-source basis, the development of additional plugins for WordPress can be more updated, which is why Wastuwibowo has been using WordPress for the past three years. Earlier, he signed in to a blog provider hosted by Google, Blogger.com.

However, Kuncoro said, Wordpress can also be made use of as a blog engine for other sites.

Recently, Wastuwibowo has in fact applied Wordpress engine to build a website belonging to South Minahasa government, North Sulawesi. "Because it is open-source-based, it costs almost nothing," said Wastuwibowo.

Jose Mourinho Plans €100m Premier League Player Revolution At Inter

A report in the Italian media suggests that Jose Mourinho could be handed a giant transfer kitty in the summer in order to set Inter up for a Champions League charge.

Jose Mourinho is planning a mega €100 million revolution at Inter after the club failed again in their hunt for European glory this season.

The Nerazzurri crashed out of the Champions League on Wednesday, leaving a number of unanswered questions at Appiano Gentile. Tuttosport claims Mourinho will attempt to revolutionise the club - like he did at Chelsea - with a €100m transfer kitty from president Massimo Moratti.

‘The Special One' has said that he wants to continue working at Inter, but that he wants to do it his way. Reports suggest the coach will focus on bringing in several Premier League-based stars in order to prepare his side for next season's Champions League run.

Manchester United stopper Nemanja Vidic, Arsenal's Abou Diaby, Tottenham's Jermaine Jenas and Chelsea duo John Obi Mikel and Didier Drogba are all on Mourinho's transfer list, according to the report.

In order to get his hands on the pack of Premier League aces, it is reported that the Portuguese will need at least €100m at his disposal.

Although it seems like a great deal of money, the club is planning to offload some deadwood in order to lessen the financial burden on Moratti's shoulders.

David Suazo, Ricardo Quaresma, Amantino Mancini, Marco Materazzi, Patrick Vieira, Luis Figo, Hernan Crespo and Julio Cruz could all face the exit door.

Inter will be desperate to bounce back from yet another early Champions League exit as they entertain fourth-placed Fiorentina..

How Will Inter React?

Inter’s Champions League jinx continued on Wednesday night as they went down 2-0 against reigning European and Club World Champions Manchester United at Old Trafford, after the 0-0 draw at San Siro in the first leg. It was the Nerazzurri’s third consecutive elimination at the last 16 stage, after the ones against Valencia two years ago and Liverpool last year.
Unlike on those two occasions, Inter were not favorites heading into the clash against the Mancunians, so perhaps it would be harsh to say their season is a failure already. Still, there can be no denying that president Massimo Moratti brought in coach José Mourinho to win in Europe, as his predecessor Roberto Mancini was alleged to lack the necessary experience and know-how in the most prestigious club competition.

While Inter were ultimately eliminated once again, there are some positives to take from their meeting with Sir Alex Ferguson’s side. Their performance in the first leg at home was forgettable at best, but in the second leg they showed some good football and it was clear they gave it their all. In fact, they missed some clear chances and even hit the woodwork twice, although they conceded the kind of goals they never concede in Serie A. Most important of all, however, is that Inter were not disgraced, did not get involved in any post-match rumbles, their fans did not misbehave, and the team competed on the same level with United for large portions of the tie.

Luck was not on their side, but there is certainly the feeling that for once Inter did not get knocked out because of their own failure or because they couldn’t handle the pressure. That is an important step forward for them, and to an extent this can be attributed to Mourinho, who should certainly be given another chance to make a more lengthy run in this competition. To do that, however, Inter must certainly avoid making another lousy start to their European campaign, as the reason they met a strong side like United so early on was their abysmal performance in the group stage, where they finished second to Panathinaikos in the weakest group of the competition.

Of course, now it will be interesting to see how they react in this final part of the season. Inter are still well on course to become Italian champions for the fourth time in four seasons, as they prepare to defend a seven-point lead over Juventus with 11 matches to go. We all remember what happened last season, when the Nerazzurri nearly threw away an 11-point lead over Roma following the defeat to Liverpool, beating the Giallorossi to the title only on the final matchday. No Inter fan will want that to happen again.

If the last few years are anything to go by, however, the fans should not worry that the elimination from the Champions League will have an immediate negative effect on the next league match. In the last four seasons, in fact, Inter always managed to win their next game after getting knocked out of the Champions League.

Tough Times For Fiorentina

Cesare Prandelli’s Fiorentina are going through a rough period. Although they are still in fourth place, lately their football has lacked the confidence and consistency we are used to seeing from the Viola. This negative period culminated last weekend in perhaps their worst performance of the season against Palermo, who won 2-0 at the Stadio Artemio Franchi. It was only their second home defeat of the season, after the one against Lecce in January.

It’s hard to say why they are having problems. Their list of injured players is not that huge, alhough perhaps the decision to let go of a strong young striker like Giampaolo Pazzini, who has been doing very well since joining Sampdoria in January, was not a very smart idea. The team relies heavily on the potentially devastating attacking duo of Alberto Gilardino and Adrian Mutu, but both have had their ups and downs this season, and when they are not at their best, the team struggles to find other ways to score.

Recently Prandelli has also expressed his discontent with the excessive criticism by the Florence press, which came down hard on the club after their elimination at the hands of Ajax in the UEFA Cup. Fiorentina were particularly unlucky in those matches against the Dutch giants, as in both legs they showed an evident superiority, but they were unlucky in their finishing (as has been the case for many Italian sides in Europe this season).

A period of bad luck or poor form should not be enough to diminish Fiorentina’s achievements over the past few years. They have been one of the few sides who have consistently managed to challenge for a Champions League spot, but due to various consequences of the Calciopoli scandals, they were only able to take part in the tournament this season.

They will certainly relish the opportunity to participate in the tournament again and build on their performance of this season, which certainly wasn’t a complete failure, as they finished third in a group containing Bayern Munich and Olympique Lyon, champions of Germany and France, respectively. The race to finish fourth in Serie A this season will probably be more interesting than the Scudetto race, as Genoa and Roma are hot on Fiorentina’s heels, both just one point below the Viola.

Their recent tradition against Inter hasn’t been too good, although this season they managed to end a string of four successive league defeats by them with a scoreless draw in Florence. With Genoa travelling to Cagliari and Roma to Genoa to face Sampdoria, all teams aiming for the Champions League have tough matches this weekend, but Fiorentina play on Sunday night so by then they will know what they have to do to maintain fourth place in the table.

The outspoken Portuguese tactician believes that the entire Italian peninsula will be pleased that his side are out of Europe.

The reigning Italian champions, Inter, were no match for the reigning English, Champions League and World champions, Manchester United, at Old Trafford last night.

The Nerazzurri needed to attain a result in order to progress further in the competition, but they failed in their quest as United ran out victors by a 2-0 score line.

Inter’s elimination from the competition is something that the coach Jose Mourinho believes will please all Italians, whilst he also feels that all is not lost despite their exit.
“All of Italy will be happy because we were eliminated. But I do not care,” Mourinho declared in an interview with Rai following the match.

“I am not angry, only sad. We did not have the luck you need to win these big matches, so I am sorry that we don’t have the chance to win this cup any longer.

“In any case, there is still the Scudetto, which is something we surely must win now.

Mourinho’s men currently lead their nearest rivals, Juventus, by a comfortable seven points with 11 rounds remaining, meaning that a fourth consecutive Serie A title is well and truly on the cards.

Inter Milan has a chance Wednesday to oust the Champions League holders and reach the quarterfinals.
Inter manager Jose Mourinho has history on his side going into Wednesday's second leg at Old Trafford: He has lost just one of 13 confrontations with United's Alex Ferguson.
The most memorable of Mourinho's victories came on his first visit to Old Trafford five years ago, when he guided eventual champion FC Porto to the final eight and sprinted down the touchline in celebration.

Mourinho joined Inter last summer after a stint at Chelsea, where he twice beat Ferguson's side to the Premier League title.

The Red Devils outplayed the Italian league leaders at the San Siro, but had to settle for a 0-0 draw and no valuable away goal.

That puts extra pressure on United's formidable defense to stop Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Adriano from scoring. Despite concerns over Rio Ferdinand's fitness, center back Nemanja Vidic will return after missing the first leg through suspension.

"He's a great player, he's done very well so far this year," Ibrahimovic said. "I'm looking forward to taking on Vidic. It's no problem for me to play against the best because that's part of the challenge. Players look forward to big occasions. You have to enjoy them.

"We have to win or draw to go through, but I don't think that any team really plays for a draw. We'll have to see how it turns out."

United defender Patrice Evra is confident about keeping Inter's strike force at bay.

"We really feel that people cannot score against us, be it home or away," the Frenchman said. "It makes us feel incredibly confident. We know we can win by scoring a single goal because we are able to hold on to a result."

Evra lost out to Mourinho's Porto side in the 2004 final during his Monaco days.

"Mourinho is the kind of coach that everyone wants to beat," Evra said. "I lost a Champions League final against him with Monaco, but I turned that around with United when I won my first league title here. That was a beautiful victory.

Inter will be heading to Old Trafford on Wednesday in confident mood after another convincing win in Serie A. It was the Nerazzurri's tenth away win of the campaign and fourth on the bounce. Ibrahimovic got the champions off to a flyer within the first minute as he kept his cool to lob Rubinho. Balotelli made sure of the points in the second half, albeit in very controversial fashion. Genoa came into the game with great intent and the Grifoni should have taken the lead within 30 seconds of the start. Diego Milito loves a big game and he should have left his mark when he was played through by Bosko Jankovic, but the Argentinean blazed wide. A great miss which was punished just 50 seconds later when a long pass by Dejan Stankovic found Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The big striker controlled perfectly and lobbed Rubinho in goal from the edge of the box. The home side were taken by surprise and the sheer speed of the move. 'Ibra' ran through and showed ice cold technique to freeze Genoa and stun the crowd. It was goal 15 of the season and it came exactly a month after his last strike against Lecce.

It was a fairly open game and the Grifoni continued to carve out good chances. Milito thought he was on when he ran through to Thiago Motta's pass, but he was flagged when he seemed just onside. The chances kept on flowing at either end as both teams went for broke. Inter were hit with bad news midway through the half though as Marco Materazzi was forced to come off with an injury. The Lecce-born stopper seemed to fall awkwardly whilst challenging Domenico Criscito and he was unable to continue.

Inter were not flawless and they showed signs of weakness at the back as Genoa continued to press them. Julio Cesar, as on so many previous occasions this term, came to the rescue when Thiago Motta latched onto Biava's cross. The Portuguese midfielder did brilliantly to execute a powerful header, but the Brazilian's hand extended enough to keep the ball out.

The Rossoblu continued to dominate. Inter didn't really show any prowess when attacking. Luis Figo lost possession and the home side were able to counter attack their opponents. It was all too much for Javier Zanetti and he conceded the foul on Juric. Motta stepped up, but his attempt was poor. The play-maker didn't seem confident as he ran up to strike the ball and the result reflected this. The ball just rose and sailed embarrassingly wide of the mark as a relieved Cesar looked on.

Second Half

The Nerazzurri came out with the same attacking intent as they did in the first half. Genoa looked flat and out of ideas, and it wasn't long before Giampiero Gasperini considered to change it up. Biava, who was outstanding for most of the game should have cut the deficit in half when a loose ball fell kindly to him. Jankovic did brilliant to switch the play and it allowed the stopper to drift in, but his attempt was poor. He lobbed Cesar, but the effort was weak and the Brazilian made the easy catch.

Gasperini introduced Raffaele Palldino into the fray and the decision almost paid off. The former Juve man did brilliantly to beat Cordoba and cross low into Milito's path. The striker reversed the pass, but Palldino's finish was wild. Inter sat back and soaked up the pressure. Jose Mourinho's men didn't seem interested in attacking their opponents.

However, the Nerazzurri doubled their advantage as the clock ticked on thanks to some major blunders by Marco Rossi and both the linesman, and referee. A long ball by Cambiasso was flicked on by Ibrahimovic. Balotelli ran onto it and beat Rubinho with a soft finish. Rossi was on the line to clear, but he made a huge error and the ball went over the line but not fully. However, the linesman seemed to feel the ball had crossed the goal line and awarded a goal, despite major protests from Genoa. Replays show Inter were rather fortuitous at having been given the benefit of the doubt.

The Grifoni were unfortunate. They battled hard to get back in, but Rossi, as he was minutes earlier, was again the culprit for missing the chance of the match. A well worked one-two move with Milito carved open the Nerazzurri, but the stopper went for power over accuracy and blasted high when it was easier to score. Inter held on to record another good win and now the pressure will be on Juventus to keep up the pace at the top of the table.

The Inter boss Jose Mourinho made an interesting tactical selection, as he opted to start Adriano and Mario Balotelli up front, whilst Zlatan Ibrahimovic was left out of the starting line-up for only the second time this season. Luciano Spalletti responded by keeping Francesco Totti out of the team altogether, with Mirko Vucinic and Julio Baptista heading the Roman attack.

First Half

Luciano Spalletti’s men continued to control the play as the half neared an end, and despite not creating many clear cut chances in the final 10 minutes of play, they deservedly held on to their two goal advantage at the break, leaving Jose Mourinho with a number of concerns heading into the second half.

Second Half

Having lost just one of their past 34 league matches, Inter instantly responded at the commencement of the second half by making some changes that were expected by Mourinho. The match took another interesting turn on 63 minutes, when Balotelli won a penalty for the Nerazzurri, after a sparkling run into the area that eventually ended when De Rossi made slight contact with the Italian striker. The starlet stepped up to take the spot kick, and he made no mistake, by coolly slotting it past Doni to give his side a chance with just under half an hour remaining.

As the half approached the final 20 minutes, it was clear that the home side had certainly lifted in confidence, as they went in search of an equaliser and perhaps a winner after that. Despite this though, it was the visitors that had the best opportunity to add to their respective tally on 68 minutes, when Vucinic managed to get on to the end of a lovely chip into the area, but unfortunately for his sake he failed to direct his header on target.

Incredibly just one minute after being brought on to the field for Stankovic, Inter’s Crespo equalised the match with a stunning header to beat Doni in goals. Figo’s ball in from the left caught Mexes out of position, allowing the Argentine substitute to rise above the French defender and Panucci to head home his side’s third and make it 3-3.

The match entered the final five minutes, and despite dominating for the large part of the contest, it seemed as if Roma were desperately holding on to ensure that they attained at least a result against the league leaders in this match. Inter were certainly looking the more likely to add to their tally in the closing stages, although Riise did have an opportunity on 86 minutes from a free kick, which was well dealt with by Julio Cesar.

De Rossi had a massive opportunity on 90 minutes, when he expertly controlled the ball in the area and got himself into a good position to score. Unfortunately for his sake though, his eventual effort with the left boot was poor, and wide of the target. Three minutes of stoppage time were indicated by the fourth official, however it seemed as if it was too little too late for the Romans.

The referee’s final whistle made sure of this, as Inter and Roma played out one of the most entertaining matches of the season. The result sees Inter remain seven points clear of Juventus, whilst Roma are still in sixth place, as they continue to struggle to break into the top four in the league.
